I agree with froggy_lol. Adding on to his first statement about how vlr doesn't accurately represent EMEA fans, Finland is actually a relatively popular country in Europe with a positive reputation (let's go Moomins!) and pleasant people. Additionally, one of the first things Europeans find out about another European (from my experiences) is what their nationality is, so it isn't strange for an European Valorant esport fan to know the nationalities of their favorite players.

Sometimes I forget that Turkey isn't part of Europe, I have so many shawarma and kebab wraps and interact with so many Turkish friends that at this point it's just ingrained into my mind haha 😅 That's a mistake on me alright.

Nice talking to you, to be honest it's frustrating and saddening to me to see the impact a lot of these EMEA "fans" that don't actually represent the region's sentiment has made such a negative impact on users such as you. I'm sure you made this forum with good intent though, and I'm glad to have had this discussion.

born in EU, i really loved EU teams since i started following esports in 2014, in val tho, im a zellsis fan so i currently support sentinels. eu fans dont seem to care about regions excluding 4-5 people trolling on this site (pls stop falling for yesirski baits). most emea fans dont spread much hate on vlr, they are busy spreading it on soloq lmao. and yeah not many die hard fans like some 100t fans, og sentinels fans, c9 fans and so on. people i know just seem to support the region as a whole but that doesnt necessarily have to do with trying to beat NA teams in international events
