No matter how hard i look at it, i just feel like they got lucky they didn't play FNC. Realistically, LOUD, FNC and NAVI looked better too, just got unlucky with the matchups. If EG played FNC/NAVI, it would of been a swift 3-0 or 3-1, so...

You do realise that LOUD being FNC’s kryptonite at champs isnt their fault, right? KOI were about to make champs off the back of always beating NAVI due to having the antistrat vs them down to a T. Same thing with LOUD and FNC. They beat literally any other team than LOUD at champs cause LOUD has it in for them.

Nah they deserved champs, they fixed their issues from Tokyo and still improved on areas they were already strong in.

My hot take is that teams showed EG way too much respect at Tokyo during the map vetos, the snowball effect of this respect allowed EG to become the strong team they were at champs.
