In Immortal elo, very few people actually want to win the game.
The toxicity is different.
In Val people get toxic and make personal insults: "You're fat, you were bullied yada yada"
In CS the toxicity stays within the game. Everyone wants to win at the end of the day.

Have been Immortal every Act, but it's clear I'm getting too old for the game and the Gen Z community.
CS feels so good, the gun play, the mechanical skill ceiling. It feels good knowing that my aim and gun skill is being rewarded :D
The community is also much more mature than Val. 4 stacks actually want to befriend you :D

I am getting Game Latency (CPU) spikes, Present Latency (CPU) spikes, and Game to Render Latency (CPU + GPU) spikes across two different PC's.
May I please ask someone to also test these graphs and see if they are also getting these spikes or not? Otherwise I am not sure what the cause could be! I am getting text chat delay and stutters in the game that could be related to these spikes. It's not fun to play the game anymore with these spikes, and I'm about to give up playing Val. I do not experience stutters when I play CS2.

If you’re solo like myself, then it’s better to wait for the trios to reach Immortal, then when you finally play, you’ll still get in their games because of MMR, but you won’t have to deal with them trio queuing.
Basically it’s easier to play against duo queues vs trio queues. Tell me is my logic genius or what?
The angles weren't 50/50 campy corner angles though. The angles were wide open and long range. These are perfect conditions for a better aimer to win the duel. It's like in the old days when cowboys would do a quick draw duel, the better shot and reaction time will win!
I was DMing on Breeze and I realized something while playing the new map. The number of angles for enemies to appear from is now reduced. For example, mid used to be more open for gun fights at different angles, but now, mid feels more compact and there's only a few angles where enemies can shoot you from.
I enjoy wider open areas because your aim and target switching could be displayed more. Now that there's only a few angles to fight, it's less aim based and it becomes like every other map.
Basically on new Breeze, the aim skill ceiling is lower, whereas on original Breeze, real aim and talent could shine through. Rito is slowly dumbing the game down and just catering to the casuals who complain about gunplay and wanting to spam utility.
As a CSJoe, original Breeze was the GOAT map. Here were my stats on original Breeze where I was Immortal 3.

I have good specs with a 7800x3D and a 4070 TI.
This prebuilt PC was working flawlessly for a year and a half, but after I replaced the CPU cooler, I started getting strange stutters. I turned on the graphs and am seeing 100 ms spikes for Game Latency (CPU), Game to Render Latency (CPU + GPU), Render Latency (GPU), and Present Latency (CPU).
This latency spike has been going on for a month now. I did apply thermal paste, and my temps on the top left appear to be good (around 60c).
Things I've tried:
My next test will be reseating the GPU.
This is my last hope. I will just buy another PC If I can't get this fixed by the end of December!
