If this was a Bo3, C9 might've had a chance against Fnatic. But since this is a Bo5, it's absolutely joever for C9. There's no way they have the map pool with a stand-in.

I'll give C9 credit for this series. Going 2-3 against Fnatic is absolutely commendable. Hopefully it wasn't a honeymoon phase.
I wouldn’t say it was a honeymoon phase from how you could see them play with each other.
In a honeymoon phase you’re talking natural chemistry and individual brilliance stemming from newfound hunger.
I saw a lot of thought through plays leveraging individual’s playstyles. The way they set OXY up for success sometimes was quite intricate.
What they need is this kind of thinking through more scenarios on more maps, and filling in the gaps that they’re opening by making these 2-3 men plays.
Very promising for sure.
There is only one team that can stop Fnatic, and unfortunately, it is not in this championship.

No chance for C9 in a BO5. They could maybe pull off an upset in a BO3. Not a BO5, can’t see it happening
I’m honestly surprised C9 even got 1 map considering this is Fnatic. That’s a win in my book.

What a match. That Cloud9 team looks so damn promising - even without one of their best players, wippie. And yeah, OXY is an absolute beast. Also Leo showed again why he's the best player in the world with this performance after only 1 week of practice since Champions.
I think FNC def. had their problems with the playstyle of C9, but even without much practicing in the last time, their experience helped them to win it in the end.

oxy is so damn good, fnc without mini is looking a bit concerning, though the level of individual skills is still insanely high
Having your team carried by a content creator that is not going to play for you in the season is actually crazy.
