Both seangares and Mikes, alongside Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, joined the 100 Thieves in March as part of a coaching and management overhaul. The change followed a lackluster Stage 1 showing that saw the team exit 1-4 in the group stage.

Under their guidance, the organization quickly made changes, releasing Spencer "Hiko" Martin and signing Derrek "Derrek" Ha, William "Will" Cheng, Brenden "stellar" McGrath, and Sean "bang" Bezerra, leaving Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk as the sole remaining member of the 100T old guard.

The new lineup debuted in Stage 2, where they initially stumbled.
