What's going on with the EMEA franchising teams, apart from FNC TL and NAVI, every other team seems to be mid and won't be able to compete internationally. Is the free agents and talent pool so poor in EMEA? is it the time for eu teams to import talent from NA for example

You guys are going off name value.

No one expected GUILD to perform internationally and they performed well. Beating optic 2-0 and only losing to the 2 finalists.

With that said, you have very little, if any evidence to judge how these teams will perform internationally.

This. Biggest difference between EMEA and Americas is just the name value. I said this before but if you look at NA and EMEA LCQ (that are really equal in level) fucking OGLU placed same in EMEA as C9 in NA. The team whose core is part of this C9 "superteam". But do people talk about OGLU or their players? Like don't get me wrong individually C9 are better, but you get the point. People just look at names and assume their skill based on that. Like some people saying that team like Vitality should import NA players over Molsi and Twisten lol

And as @Valgod also said, if the NA and EMEA are similar in level (which they are, as many results proved), and NA 3rd seed got grouped, there really is no basis for people saying EMEA looks weak. It's purely clout based, which is 2 head.

honestly, yall are giga underrating GIA and KOI.

The GIA core of fit1nho and Cloud is sure to rip apart almost anybody they face up against. If hoody and rhyme come back to form and they sign a solid 5th, then I could easily see this roster making LAN.

KOI also looks good, with Sheydos and trexx being some of the most insane players to come out of the CIS region. koldamenta is one of the best IGLs in the world, Wolfen is one of the best, brightest players to come out of the vrls; outfragging established players like baddyG and paTiTek. Starxo hasn't been in the best form as of late but if he gets back into his old form then I'm sure that he will be a great backbone and support for the team. Plus, a little clout from starxo never hurt anybody

FNC, NaVi, TL and KOI can easily compete with anyone. Vitality and Heretics could be the surprise underdogs and I can see KC and Giants fighting for a Masters spot although it seems improbable. The only teams that don't seem good enough to me are the Turkish teams
