With Champions Shanghai and the previous partnership agreement of VCT coming to an end, organizations that applied for the next cycle of partnership have begun announcing their partnered status. Agreements last two years in this next era of Valorant, allowing for more flexibility from Riot.
While the previous format had 10 partnered teams per region plus two Ascension teams, the next cycle will see eight partnered teams per region, with regions also split up further to allow for more designation. With VCT Americas split into North America, LATAM North, LATAM South, and Brazil, a handful of currently partnered teams were bound to miss out on the next cycle.
The partnered teams in VCT Americas are as follows, with announcements linked:

After years of competing as some of Valorant's most iconic outfits, Sentinels and LOUD have both announced they have been selected as partners, with both looking to add to their cabinets two international trophies each. A year removed from being crowned world champions, NRG have also been partnered, extending their stay in Valorant after entering in its earliest days. After lifting one Masters title in the past year, recording a Champions podium the year before, and running one of VCT's most successful academies in

Since entering Valorant in 2021, Cloud9 has competed in Americas, fielding names like leaf , yay , and Zellsis , but has struggled to raise its profile within a competitive Americas league. While the team has not been selected for partnership, it did share in its announcement that it would remain in Valorant. Challengers teams SRB and M80 also announced, casting doubt over whether or not the orgs would continue in the title. FlyQuest, which has an active team in League of Legends, also announced that it was not selected as a partner.
ENVY, after being one of the pre-partnership era's most iconic outfits, returned to the game by picking up the
