i think teams like SEN would love to have him, but its the dumbest thing in the middle of the stage to add someone new into the mix. I mean look what happened to FUR when they added c0m.
its not just how good a player is though mechanically and playstyle. That player has to learn how the team comms, uses util, retakes, site execs, there are soo many factors that go into it more than just how good that player is. Not to mention the chemistry.

Picking on C9 here just as the low bar example but really I would apply to most teams. Without making some change they might win another game. Or they lose to T2 in play-ins. That’s their ceiling (I’m actually a fan, believe it or not.). So I am adding Eeiu 100000 times if he’s available in hopes that it clicks sooner than typical, especially in such a seasoned player.
yeah i get what you're saying but vora actually had a good take on this during a stream not too long ago. It's better to just play it out with that team the way they are, maybe get into playoffs or play-ins and hope for a dream run rather than bring a completely new person into that system with zero team chemistry which hinders your chances alot more than helps. Not to say eeiu wouldnt be an upgrade to these teams, he 100% is, but eeiu would still prefer like, more time to learn that team rather than trying to cram it all into 2-3 days then play an official and hope to god you perform.
I think this is restrictive thinking.
Look at every sport - adding at trade deadlines because they want a chance at contending. Esports is not more complicated than that. I think it’s “safe” to think like that but honestly more than anything I find it small minded and an attempt to avoid criticism from the fanbase.
TLDR: in a sinking ship I think keeping a status quo is short sighted and bad managing.
yeah but these teams that are sinking ships know they probably arent going to win champs, maybe they make a decent-ish run in play-ins but thats about it. Adding in a new player into the mix drastically reduces those chances imo, but i do get what you're saying. SEN is the one team i think benifits from him the most, but because its such a young/fresh team, adding a new player so late could be devastating.
The gap between eeiu and Verno isn’t big enough to justify that change but I wouldn’t hate it in the event that they swapped Verno to senti and just had eeiu replace Tex instead
