I hate when casters cast with any familiarity at all. I want the cleanest casting possible. Proper English always. Perfect grammar. Every ability called its government given name. Every player with their in game name and their # afterwards said every time. Each org name never shortened. Exclamations kept at a minimum or better yet abolished.

Anything less is pure disrespect.

Titles = record book = best of the year. Without looking back I know you can’t recall all of the runner ups over the years (VCT, esports, other sports), but I bet you can recall many of the winners.

Tournaments = meritocracy. Grind, play better than the opponent, and win to become immortalized.

This isn’t a hard concept.

The reason there aren’t many repeat winners lately is a) young new talent aging in and rocking the scene and b) the game and meta shifts often - which I personally think is great for the game, but I’m sure many old hats don’t like.
