Debatable for sure. I think outside of faker vs ryu being the most iconic league moment you can argue for lot of plays for being 2nd or 3rd. But the shuffle play is #4 for me.
faker vs ryu is easily eclipsed by the faker shuffle if we're including anything beyond influence. everyone knows or has heard of "faker, what was that?". it's undeniable. but the faker shuffle just had so many narratives going for it on top of it being just a crazy outplay that required mechanics, mindgames, and straight up balls. that's why i think it's 2nd. honestly evo moment 37 is really iconic and i'm well aware of how insane it is, but if we're talking influence i seriously don't think that has reached more people than the faker vs ryu play
Evo 37 for sure had more influence. Also more popular in general cause it honestly escaped the Esports bubble at the time. At least I know many people who know about it even if they don't really know much about esports. Might just be my experience tho.
EVO 37 definitely did not have more influence especially when you consider that it's not particularly popular in Asia outside of Japan. Maybe in the West, where fighting games have a larger community, people are more likely to know it but I can guarantee that in China/Korea this is not the case. And China/Korea are probably the number 1 and number 2 biggest single country audiences in e-sports outside of mobile gaming.
Might not be in Korea for sure but idk about China. But yeah globally it is more popular. I mean viewership in social media are one example of it being more popular in a way. Also for China maybe some hok or mobile game play is legendary that's not even heard outside China lol. Hard to determine what's popular in China cause of the great wall.

Ruler was on such prime that for the first time in 10 years watching League i was shocked to see that Level from an ADC, i have never saw someone playing on that level.
Faker destroyed the greatest prime by his own hands, he won that game ALONE.

JDG had a 75% winrate at Worlds vs their 80% at MSI. i wouldn't say it's prime JDG but it's not like they were significantly worse than they were at MSI, this is just downplaying the stakes and narratives behind that Semifinals for some reason.
JDG were the most expensive roster in the history of league of legends, with the undisputed best Chinese player in recent history and one of the GOAT ADCs on their way to the Golden Road, which had never been achieved before.
Faker and T1 looked shaky and the weakest LCK team to attend that Worlds, they were also the last Korean team at a Korea hosted Worlds, and they had to beat 3 LPL teams in a row in Playoffs to win it. It was literally China's best teams at a Worlds held in Korea versus the last hope of the home crowd and the GOAT who hadn't won Worlds in 7 years.
Then, during game 3 and match point for either team, when JDG had turned the tide of the game and were slowly choking out T1, Faker not only finds the perfect angle onto Ruler in a way EXTREMELY reminiscent of Ruler's own insane individual play to deny Faker's 3rd Worlds back in 2017, but also does it even better because he actually predicted Ruler's flash. That play singlehandedly won them Game 3 and brought them to match point.
Again let's not act like jdg wasn't looking worse in worlds. 369 was struggling a lot with meta change and also let's not forget that stats like win rate means shit for top teams in worlds. Like there is hardly any competition for top teams in worlds out of top 4-5. Jdg struggled to even beat kt to even face t1. Again not downplaying the play of faker but that's not the most iconic moment in league esports let alone whole of esports. Again tho I am considering only worlds as whole for this not considering how jdg or t1 looked before worlds cause of how much change there is every event cause of meta changes.
