i almost feel bad for fnatic’s front office/management. they’re put into probably one of the toughest positions in what to do with b00ster. option A they drop him and find literally any other IGL, the team performance skyrockets, they might actually make an international stage, and they know they have a player that won’t go giga negative every match (even vs the literal worst team in the region), BUT they flip their fanbase, receive infinite backlash from parasocial freaks, marketability/income definitely decreases as a result. option B they keep him until he decides to quit on his own volition, the team continues to carry the worlds heaviest sandbag until then, and continue to miss placing well domestically/internationally,… BUT they keep their fans happy, and their marketability high. when you watch FNC it’s not hard to see that they have some of the most talented fraggers in the region, but it’s quite hard to win matches 4v5. the fact that they win any match is a testament to how talented alfa and kajaak are.

I wish for Kaajak to be able to find his form again... it often just needs one good game and then it makes "click" in the head just as during his first matches in VCT at all last year. But yeah, overall... I think this will be a really tough year for Fnatic. Veqaj def. can shoot but the way Chronicle played all his agents, the way he roamed and all that is a level that helped Fnatic reaching 3 grand finals in a row. Fnatic is simply not on the 2025 level so far... not even close. Alfajer and crashies are the only players that touch their last year brilliance here and then and of course it's crazy difficult when the whole team is not as strong anymore.
