Day 2 of hitting gym and it really seems like most girls either like skinny fit pants or super tight short shorts for some reason. Do they like to show off their butts for men to look at on purpose or nah?

sometimes yes
sometimes we like to wear shit like that
depends on the girlie
but no matter what it doesnt give you an excuse to stare
genuine question, what's wrong with looking? i think a better frame would be
" not an excuse to be a creep, take photos, etc"
i feel like a guy would have no problem if a girl stared at him, but would probably feel uncomfortable if they did the things i mentioned above
vlr users: don't downvote me, instead give me a valid argument
but also
being stared at by anyone
not just men
is scary for me
it just so happens that men do it more often
do you separate checking out from staring?
does it change anything if someone looks at you?
also i totally get what you're saying and am in no way trying to shut you down
Ok so being horny justifies treating women as a sex object?
Patriarchy at its finest
Go watch p*rn and fucking behave in public environment…
btw i did not say this at all. never once did i act horny, and never once did i justify anything. i'm just looking for further perspective
idk i dont really check girls out bc i have a girlfriend, but it's probably just top to bottom, no? like hair->face->everything else. i feel like that's not a crazy take
Then u don’t understand what girls go through every single day on the streets sorry ..
Ofc a guy wouldn’t mind that a girl stares at him cause a guy is not a sexualised object in 99% of the cases
but i feel like inherently staring isn't the problem, it's the other stuff i mentioned
also staring is a bit of a stretch, because i feel like there's not a problem checking a girl out, but if you're at the gym constantly looking at their ass, it's a bit much
idk i suppose it's hard not to take a glance here and there if a girl is wearing workout clothes same way if a guy is wearing a wife beater
im totally onboard with the "it doesn't matter what she was wearing" thing tho
imo looking at someones butt always has some sexual motive behind it, which isnt nice to be the subject of when you didnt ask for it
i understand where you're coming from, but if it genuinely is only looking and just moving on with each others day, is there a problem?
i mean i feel guilty about when i look at a girls butt because in practice i am objectifying them, even if they dont know i looked. it feels disrespectful to them as a person to me
I can see that, but i wouldn't say it's as extreme as objectifying. if that's the case, then i should feel guilty for looking at a woman at all(like hair/face) because am i not objectifying her when my brain is trying to tell whether a girl is pretty or not? even if being pretty or not has zero relevance to the convo or if it doesn't change anything, i feel like our brains are wired to label things regardless of whether or not that impacts how we act towards things
am i making any sense
Not trynna be mean or anything but it doesn’t seem like u have a gf, u will be in a relationship at some point and u will notice how men “just look” at your girl and your perception will change trust me in that
i actually just celebrated my two year anniversary with my gf on valentines day, but maybe i just have a different perspective since i just turned 19, but whenever someone see my girlfriend and is like "damn she's bad" (instead of pretty or something better bc i see bad as an objectifying word), i just always respond "i know" or something like that. If someone looks at my girlfriend, i'm not going to worry because he can look all he likes, but he will never be me
again, ive never been in a scenario where a guy creepily looks at her
But what you are saying is just your perspective yk? When someone tells me my girl is beautiful I also say I know
But did you ever ask her how she feels Abt someone looking at her boobs or sth? Just cause u don’t mind doesn’t mean she doesn’t mind
no one downvoted you lol
i think (as a man) i would be fine with girls looking at me in general, but not with girls looking at me in a sexual way. there is a difference between making eye contact and looking at someones behind. i would be very uncomfortable if people were constantly looking at my crotch, for example
i guess this is a valid point, but i feel like it's slightly flawed. personally, if people were constantly looking at my crotch, i'd feel insecure because of size(as in soft), not because inherently people are looking at my crotch
does that make sense?
edit: also i only added the don't downvote me because i feel like people tend to just not say anything and instead will see someone's downvoted the post and just follow along
The valid argument:
The girls (who wants to) would most likely only want the good looking and attractive men to stare (basically the rizz vs harassment meme).
So It's best to just NOT STARE AT ALL and avoid making anyone uncomfortable (You can leave the assumption of who wants to be stared at or not, behind).
And this goes both ways.
i entirely agree with this statement full stop
is it wrong for me to think that there's nothing wrong with looking subconsciously/impulsively because they are wearing clothes that happen to show their body in a better light? i'm not saying staring is okay, but if you're at the gym and happen to look in their general direction, notice a girl is wearing red or another color(colors that stand out)thats different from the typical white, black, etc you normally see at the gym, and then you look at their body, even if not for long
is that wrong? like at its very core
What if you are on the metro and everytime you try to look somewhere else to stop staring, you see more women, and there is nowhere to stare except yourself. What do I do then?
I can tell you for a fact every normal Woman out there is absolutely disgusted when men look at them in a sexual way
Source: my gf
I'd imagine you wanna look good for yourself and also their partner or potential partner
some yes, some no
either way some clothing is objectively inappropriate for public places
Yea lmfao idk wtf some ppl aare on if im in my undies at the gym and people stare im not gonna say shit like "i like to wear it so you shouldnt have an excuse to stare" im gonna realize i know what im doing and what "consequences" id have to face
The even more crazy part is the conversation isn't as incel as you'd expect it to be.
Bruh What’s the point of you existing on the site ? Go to Reddit for these questions not here stick with the game not non sense
This is genuinely an interesting question, probably not for this site though but wtv. This really depends on the girl. People don't want to admit it but there's women who got out in public and s-xualize themselves as much as possible, wearing a lot of clothes and accessories designed to make people think of sex when they see them. For example, women will wear clothes like mini skirts, mini pants, yoga pants, and crop tops to s-xualize themselves and post it on social media. Like Twitter/Instagram models will wear the most revealing clothes possible in public to farm engagements and get attention.
As far as staring goes, it's totally normal to check someone out but if you're noticeably staring and being creepy about it then that's just weird.
Spoiler: What you see here is my honest opinion that is not intended to attack anyone or their beliefs
Personally for me. Its a simple rule, if you dress in a way that is going to attract attention, i think its known you will get attention
Like if you dress indecently, dont expect everyone around you to see you as a saint and treat you like one
If you want to be treated with respect, and not be sexualized, dress in clothes that dont emphasize it
Without saying the spoiler, saying this in 2026 might get you cancelled my guy
Posted this in a forum where people are convinced forsaken has a physique of a bodybuilder btw
whatever you do, the safest option is to just ignore. Women who dress provocatively seek attention and validation, if youre not her type, youre a creep. Hit the weights and go on about your day
Tbh idk, I just mind my own business. In my experience, kinda 65-35 ratio. If you like someone why dont just go and talk. Also staring even with good intentions is kinda creepy.
Most women in the gym who dress like that are a walking cognitohazard, do NOT approach in any case or you will end up on TikTok.
I mean there was the balagg posts, and then the off season shenanigans
click through rate gotta be crazy on this
vlr equivalent of that one “misc” guy on yt who plays mc while talking abt how his whole hs friend group are pedos and how his mom met diddy n shi
I wear tight pants to show dominance to women that i have more ass than them
