New liquid roster

I didn't like the Liquid rebuild I did, I rushed it more than I should've because I was tired. SO I'M DOING IT AGAIN

Alexiiik: Duelist
Kamo: Scans/2nd duelist
Cloud: Flex/IGL
Kamyk: Smokes
Nats: Senti

It is a crime that Alexiiik is in tier 2, get that man on a roster IMMEDIATELY. He can play any duelist at a top level including yoru or waylay.
Cloud's role stays the same as it is on GX, IGL on the Initiators.
Kamo can play both flex and duelists pretty well. Allowing liquid to run waylay/yoru or solo duelist depending on the map.
I don't know why Kamyk was dropped from liquid, he's a solid player and has been frying in tier 2 lately. I see no harm in trying again with him.
Nats is Nats what can I tell you? Only change is that he'd be stepping away from the IGL role and becoming more of a midrounder. This allows him to focus on his individual play and lurks.

I think I did better with this one Liquid fans.

he was and is one of the best smokers in pacific imo. he just needs to

Get used to the region and culture
get used to the slower playstyle
get confortable on stage

and then he'll turn out insane like he was in tier 2, i've watched wayne since his tier 2 debut and he isn't playing as well aimwise and fundamentally, i think he can easily overcome this by stage one maybe even in kickoff.
He's got a great igl and coaches who can guide him through the rough patches.

i believe he'll end up being one of the best players in emea or maybe even the world.

The world is a big claim, But I suppose I see what you're saying. He was pretty solid on motiv, he's just been disappointing me on Liquid.
They looked a lot better with kicks and that was kinda what made me stop believing.

yes because miniboo is inconsistent but alexiik is nothing more than a decent player. Miniboo is more flexible and has a higher peak. Also they performed exactly the same in s2 (and like literally exactly). And that's despite Heretics completely crashing out of playoffs

also he had maps where he completely took over which is not something that we see often from miniboo anymore to be honest and his inability to play yoru in this meta isnt needed because solo yoru isnt viable on almost every map in the pool right now and kamo can play the yoru for him which was proven last year.

id rather have a rookie that has shown potential than someone that has proven to be pretty good half the time and shit the other half to be honest, theres no excuse for inconsistency after 2 years of being in tier 1 but there definitely is for playing for a month and a bit

oh didnt know he was playing smokes in vcl france interesting, havent watched the games but based on stats like yeah he's doing solid but seems to be farming tier 1.5/kinda washed tier 1 pros to where im not entirely sold, if he can keep this form into emea stage 1 then maybe. if anything i think it raises his stocks as a flex player (esp in the current meta), after what we saw last year tho im not convinced hes an upgrade on smokes

he repeated it on m8 i don't remember which game tho but other than that his util in general is not noteworthy also there were rumours he had a bad mental. Aim wise he is very solid.

This isn't me tryna fix em, I see the potential of the current roster. I just rebuild these for the fun of it.
I just mean if they WERE to change hypothetically. This roster might be a good starting point.

Its an interesting rebuild for sure, alexiik had potential as we saw on navi. And kamyk during kickoff was doing things on liquid. The question really is how well the team will gel together. And i think it shows potential

I mean Liquid shouldn't rebuild completely so soon but if they do want to do it How about we get back an all Russian roster ? Nats and Purpo are already there you just have to add 3 more and that will help with synergy plus comms a lot more and also give Liquid a distinct identity of their own in the league .
