Most good oppers like Oxy, Aspas, demon1 are going to be good with this

In the current meta it won't replace the vandal, the firerate and ammo count are both too low to keep up with Neon sliding on you while Waylay dashes up your ass. But in a slower meta I could see some teams running full wardens.

Most good anchor players will still use phantom for spraying smokes, ammo, and firerate.

I think its 1 of 2 things

1. Academy can compete in the tournament leading to cups, but cannot participate in the cup itself.

So if TLA won in the cup qualifier, then the person they beat takes their spot and that team's slot to another high placing team.
Which is fine since players still get paid and still get looked at by orgs/get potential promotions.

2. Academy teams can play in cups, but must play as an orgless roster which can be bought out.

So TLA wins the qualifier and becomes "HomelessGuys" which could get bought by say GiantX. (Like how Fluxo bought La Masia.)
Still good for the players, they can choose to resign with the academy roster afterwards or get an offer from an org.
