since ewc 26 has ramped up the prize pool from 1.25 mil to 2 mil how much does the winning team earn and surely it cant be called a mickey mouse tourney as there are 16 teams which is more competitive than a masters and a prize pool nearly that of vct champions only thing they need to do is remove BO1s

The fact some matches straight up aren't being streamed makes it mickey enough for me
only the qualifiers and tbh vct qualifies teams thru stage 1 and 2 kickoff etc so it depends on the production cost so for a 10 day tounrey it makes sense why they dont want to go insane in the production of qualifiers
R6 had the same prize pool and number of teams last year, so probably similar to that. $25k for last, $750k for first.
last year had 16 teams too im pretty sure,also, masters has 16 teams so how a tournament that has qual games NOT EVEN BEING STREAMED more competitive than a masters
i also forgot to mention the clubs/org gets money from the club standings so team heretics on top of the 500k they won at ewc25 earned 400k for club placement and mvp woot earned 50k its pretty bonkers money wise
