honestly I love owners or GMs who are very transparent with their fans about their moves and justification for said moves, these seem very logical on paper.
NGL he seems transparent here but seems like he's saving face a little because he seems to imply:
- He was choosing reduxx over zekken (or potentially n4rrate) as an investment because he's a younger player
- bit dishonest IMO, obviously didn't have a say in the matter
- Chose johnqt over zellsis as their midrounder
- bit dishonest IMO, Zellsis was in 95% of scrims while john was consistently leftout, until zellsis decided to join C9 as IGL then john was immediately back
i agree, i think rob is trying to say the potential of having someone like reduxx "replace" zekken made it a little easier to let zekken walk tho, even if his mind was already pretty much made up

I mean yeah as an IGL, but they were replacing john as an IGL with KYU, and seemingly planning on keeping zellsis for midrounding, until he left and they brought john back in. Zellsis was in every scrim until the day before the c9 announcement and then john started popping up agian

JohnQT was a significantly better fragger while IGLing than Zellsis who wasn't IGLing. He had a 1.08 rating last year while Zellsis had a 0.93 . Taking John off IGL just means he can focus on his individual aim more, which was already among the best in NA.
The only argument to not keep John was if he demanded to be IGL. Otherwise it's not like a guy who was IGLing can't midround.
I genuinely don't see a single scenario where they choose Zellsis over John, despite what Zellsis may say in his youtube video.

this was known when MIBR zekken got leaked i think
i was mainly surprised that the n4rrate on duelist thing was conceived so early on, zekken being moved off duelist regardless if he stayed is a pretty shocking idea imo
They did have n4rrate duelist on Bind. People flamed kaplan for putting him on duelist instead of fade lol (mainly saw this in the off season games)

SEN entering league will kill the org slowly overtime, the fact that it affected their val/rivals teams says alot
Cool story bro. Rob Moore can say all he wants but this SEN team has no future. Relying a bit on Reduxx who still havent played in Tier 1 yet and gambling on N4rrate duelist with new players on the roster. If this team fail to connect and synergize during Kickoffs, Kaplan along with the roster should get redefined.
I always vouched for SEN Skuba(Top3 Sentinel in the world) and SEN Crashies before rostermania.
