Let's no go that far. 2023 Demon1 was ungodly levels of ridiculousness. I know people tend to forget because of his level from 2024 beyond, but it was unbelievable what he wad doing in 2023.
genuine question though, is it because of all the util and how the game has evolved that we dont see the same level out of him? or did that break after champs really fck him up?
I think it's as simple as the stars lining up perfectly for EG as a squad at the time. Demon1 has always had an agent pool problem. He had an underwhelming Raze, but Jawgemo could shore that up and Demon1 was good enough at smokes to get the job done when he wasn't on Jett. Demon1's weak agent pool became a massive problem for him after EG fell apart, and that's the main reason I believe he's been struggling. Demon1 is a system player.

Difference was that Demon1 was hitting those shots on fucking Astra and Brimstone and was much more consistent at it
I was there for 2023 Demon1 and let me tell you bro Hyunmin looked just as good if not better during the game vs PRX, especially Ascent.
