No it's definitely nitr0 or ethan. Jamppi was just a hyped rookie in CS. on top of that, ence was mid as fuck whenever he joined
Depends on the criteria if you mean who was the best cs player to move to valorant I'd probably say ethan or nitro if you mean who would end up having the best peaks probably tenz (it's definitely someone from NA let's be honest)
A surprising amount of Korean players were in cs before Val came out.
Stax was probably the best CS player that came to Val from the KR scene, and then f0rsaken was super young but really hyped up because he was nuts + xccurate’s brother
Wasn't ardiis an csgo player? I don't think he was that great but still
He didn't play very many matches at least ones on hltv and they don't seem to be big games but he did have solid stats in like t3
In terms of success across both games, probably someone like Ethan or ScreaM for NA and EMEA respectively. TenZ, Shroud, Tarik, Nitr0, FNS are all kinda HMs atleast in terms of the NA scene, I can't speak on EMEA or APAC players.
It’s was solo and peri who came from cs during NUTURN roster not to forget the whole prx roster including alecks came from cs except for jingg and new members
it has to be ethan, afaik he is the only player who has won a tier 1 trophy in both CS (ESL One NYC 2019) and Valo (champs 2023)
by tier 1 in val i mean masters/champs (regionals dont count imo)
it is so very easily ethan, jampii and tenz were just young players who never really did anything in cs, nitr0 had the best career but was a shell of himself when he moved to val, (same goes for scream with a worse career than nitr0 but still better than jampii and tenz)
Ethan, nitr0 and Tarik for sure. Jamppi had a lot of potential, but never got to really play on good team in tier 1.
