I don’t think this event is as impressive as a masters or a champs, but it still better than every other valorant event
They should make a new tier for events like these on Liquipedia
EWC is classified as S-Tier but it's definitely not as good as Champs or Masters
They should make some A+ tier or something

S tier is mainly the scale of the even. CS has it, but even S tier events aren't as prestigious as a major, or a grand slam.
Even if masters champs and ewc are S tier. The legacy left behind from winning champs or a masters will always reign more important over EWC.
I guess if prize pool is what mainly decides the tier of an event then this is absolutely S tier
But definitely not as prestigious as masters or champs (especially Masters 2 onwards)
It's not just prizepool.
I feel the main thing that constitutes an S tier among even pro players, is the level of competition.
Like there was a year ago or so in CS, where even pro players didn't see it as a T1/S event because the competition wasn't as good as other events that year.
With who's at this event, I consider it an S tier. the best teams have attended, prizepool is high. The only thing lacking imo is a legacy, and production of the earlier stages were pretty ass, plus having one bo1 then into a bo2. If it was bo2 all the way through until finals, it would be a lot better.
If there was more space between this and the other two masters I think it would be as valid as a masters, but yeah
yeah I think it's a level below masters 1 just off scheduling, but definitely above things like soop just off prize pool
I mean this was a rush, it was fun cause you had so much to watch but still it doesn’t reach the prestige of a masters or champs
Honestly I put it at the same level as Masters 1, because there's only 2 teams per region in it after a flukey kickoff. That is so ass.
I think its better than than masters 1 due to 8 teams and early season new meta new teams chaos. Level of play is always bad there.
Plus as a PRX fan you know very well how legit lower seeds can be
this is barely a major, you cannot look at the format of this event and say that with a straight face
You really had to give some very solid arguments and then immediately discredit it with French
