i mean u said sentinels (non specific) so thats why i brought them up since i find them the 2 easiest agents to deal with neon specifically.

as for deadlock stuns, there are probably alot of good stuns, but ive seen neon(at the very least slide) if not just run passed alot of normally placed deadlock traps. and u cant see(in ranked) if the enemy team has a neon or not so u cant use it as a counter pick

i see your point, but also vyse thorns and sage slow orbs in my experience is probably the most effective in stopping her.

my whole point of the matter is that i see neon as an outlier as a duelist.
in my opinion u can place alot of traps on different agents to isolate a 1v1 against a raze/jett because they have that one "all in", but its significantly harder if its a neon jumping around/sliding on u.

like i said im biased because i just hate her design for the type of game she is in.

problem to me is, when shit actually works, u can see the guy can actually aim(not the best but he can hang), but he spends most of his rounds staring at minimap and micromanaging players constantly, which made him great for a util heavy meta where u had to get out as much as possible.

but now that its much more high octane swing and shoot kinda meta with less reprocussions of it, he seems to be stuck in his ways, like FNS said about himself, that he just cant seem to stop crouchspraying after 10-15 years of competetive CS.

Boaster has probably the best strategic mind for the game we have seen but if the meta makes it less relevant then he has to adapt or become less relevant himself

hard to say but they do play odin in vastly different ways, brawk plays it as cynical or pragmatic(idk what word works here) as u can, which is smart but makes people hate it.

its like when neon was buffed and it was exciting to see her for abit, but after the 500th sliding headshot and the crouch thing people did it just became kinda rediculous

the avarage vct watcher will tell u he is at the very least top 3 igl's in valorant history, just because the meta has changed and his type of valorant doesnt work, doesnt make him bad at the game, just makes his type ineffective. if valorant changed back to more utility on all agents, his style fits again

what rank are u playing in? i see this all the time like its some kind of clip farm agent that has to be "high octane", i play some raze myself(but im a sova/initatior main) but it feels shit to play every time ur stuck with a double senti comp or have passive players on ur team

this happens in ascendant and above aswell, the moment u have a raze and your team picks double senti, its usually over cus ur just a jett without a smoke alone on site LOL

I still dont think u should buff 2-4 sentinels to be able to counter 1 agent, is good when those sentis are already pretty decent to counter other duelists.

Neon to me is the outlier here, and buffing cypher/vyse would make gamestate very problematic, just my opinion ofc.

yea 100% but one of the things about neon fundamentally is that she beats timings and alot of the time can just run passed most utility like breach stun/fade seize/kj utility.
