S tier is only the highest level events. High prize pool, production, and prestige.

However, what makes an S tier event has remained the same for other games aswell, regardless of the ecosystem.

Just being hosted or part of the main circuit isn't mandatory for the levels of events.

Honestly it's the buyouts and salaries like there's no way you break even when you spend like 100k getting like 2 players a year on ONE team when most of these orgs have teams in multiple games I honestly think until esports becomes more mainstream orgs should not have to spend as much as they do

No, at least because of the spacing, EWC will feature team that will have nothing to play for the next 2 month and will tryhard it, against teams that will use it as a scrim league to aim at masters (And couldn't take it seriously if they don't want to burn out) that's too biased, I'm not even sure we can count it at the level of a continental event.
