Ewc is the most valuable off season type event you can win but it doesn’t come close to any official riot event. Shitty format on last patch so no incentive for teams to use it for even future prep multiple subs at the event straight after a masters and before many teams last shot ar a champs place it’s like soop on crack but no where close to even lock in. Shouldn’t affect any players legacies or anything like that

It’s an off season event mid season forced into an awful scheduling slot cause Saudi threw money at riot. People think it’s legit cause the prize pool but the qualification process was awful ( multiple subs and teams didn’t event try to compete and the qualification differed across regions ) the format is awful ( bo1’s in groups and single slim ) plus it’s on the old patch when teams will be prepping the new map and bind straight after a masters. Sen Rrq G2 Geng, I think I’d love sen to lose for the China Revenge arc I just worry xlg might start slow, rrq wolves I think is closer then people think, wolves have momentum and if jemkin isn’t on his stage 1 form or the rest of the squad wobbles they could take it. G2 match up insanely well against prx and prx look exploitable in every game they’ve played bar a truly awful th. And geng look like by far the best team so far I think their favourites to make at least the upper final unless they run into G2 then I think the winner of that wins the UF.

Sen looked kinda average today, wolves looked decent outside lysoar who pretty much single handedly let sen 2-0 if he doesn’t choke in the 2nd half of split or just have an all time stinker on lotus it’s defo a map 3 and probably a close ish lotus. They didn’t though the format is awful, the qualifying format is awful. Half the teams aren’t trying or fielding weak rosters. Already is all it has is the prize pool Ewc has always had ass viewership and quality compared to the serious events in most of its esports according to the numbers and opinions of viewers.
