The 3rd best team fell off no one below the top 3 has even come close to the top 2 until a few days ago and they both still looked better comfortably NA is 2 good teams and 10 mid to crap teams. Sen 2024 was clearly carried by tenz and Sacy out of the server and to a decent extent in it, this is no shade to their current players I like them a lot but they clearly don’t have that extra gear you need to lift a trophy that Sacy and tenz gave them. They feel very much like drx of old who just 5-6th every event.

The only way you get a donk in t1 is if he joins a team we all think is pretty average and wins all 3 events in his first year in VCT before he turns 19 while being by far their best player. Ewc is the most valuable off season type event you can win but it doesn’t come close to any official riot event. Shitty format on last patch so no incentive for teams to use it for even future prep multiple subs at the event straight after a masters and before many teams last shot ar a champs place it’s like soop on crack but no where close to even lock in. Shouldn’t affect any players legacies or anything like that

It’s an off season event mid season forced into an awful scheduling slot cause Saudi threw money at riot. People think it’s legit cause the prize pool but the qualification process was awful ( multiple subs and teams didn’t event try to compete and the qualification differed across regions ) the format is awful ( bo1’s in groups and single slim ) plus it’s on the old patch when teams will be prepping the new map and bind straight after a masters. It’s just red bull homeground with money tldr
