if you had the chance to play in tier 1 this year rather than waiting for a chance next year would you take it
No because I would have respect for my teammates its not like comeback will never get picked up but if he does this he is abandoning the best t2 in emea which probably wins ascension anyways to play for a mid team couple of months early
Leaving the best t2 team(potential ascension winners) to play for a team like m8 just for few months earlier is such a bad decision imo.
Also m8's partnership future is uncertain and I think they will probably be relegated next year.
Brother, he has to win his life as well, THE SALARY, pro players don't live for "respect moments" but to be the best, win trophies and earn money
Why, why would he wait to go to VCT if he can do it now. No guarantee BBL will even promote you next year with Lewn doing as he is
hes was guaranteed to join t1 next year, riding out the PCIFIC wave could've been worth it cause they look like strong contenders for ascension but now hes put himself in an odd spot by joining a team thats expected to do, well nothing. Chances are m8 won't even be here next year and his stocks could crash if he does poorly split 2, that's just how I view it anyways.
M8 looked promising early in the split. Now they have made a massive upgrade on their by far weakest player.
They are a strong contender for top 8 and very possible for top 4 now. I expect them to be similarly ambitious for zyppans replacement now
PCIFIC on the other hand while favourites haven't really won anything yet. Never count your chickens before they hatch. A lot can happen in that time. If they didnt make that big comeback vs enterprise they would have lost in groups at challengers emea. One slip up can always happen even if youre really strong. The strongest even.
He is abandoning his teammates for a mid emea team, I would feel really dissapointed if I was comeback's teammate rn. Also current bcf roster is definitely better than m8's future roster we both know that

Maybe not as an org but they likely would ascend as a team. I enjoyed watching them and believed them so far but now comeback fucked up my hopes. I wanted to watch this roster on emea next year(under any org it doesn't matter) but not possible at this point. Also I think he deserves a better org and a better team on emea like what the hell is m8 bro
BBL has a top 4-5 emea team right now. I think they are happy.

He probably makes ascension with his team anyway then after that he can sign with whoever he wants abandoning your team mid season cannot be justified in his situation
Hiro is top 10 if not top 5 highest paid players in emea now and ruxic has also massively raised his stock with his performances on Navi

Pcific is a tiny org with no money or structure required to be a real VCT org. Expect the others to leave too

Every player in tier 2 is fighting for a chance to play in tier 1, so of course if a player gets an offer to tier 1 they are going to take it. If comeback's teammates were offered a tier 1 contract they would have accepted it too, just like almost every other tier 2 player would accept a tier 1 contract.
who gives a shit about your respect, he has bills to pay. no one is staying in t2 if they have a t1 contract on the table. no matter what.
