i can handle bell peppers and that’s about it, sometimes i can handle a little bit of salt as well

Real, people who can't tolerate spice are missing out on so many flavours in general
Imo spiciness is overrated...
Most spicy food I've seen emphasized the spiciness too much sacrificing the taste..
Plus too spicy just makes eating the food becomes unenjoyable
While I do think there's merit in spiciness, I prefer them on a decent scale😅
Agreed. There are foods that don't have to be spicy to taste good. The flavour of caramelised onions is not spicy but it's probably one of my favourite flavours in food, it's just too good when combined with other things correctly. Most of my mother's cooking is not excessively spicy, even though the food is traditionally meant to be spicy, and I really enjoy her style of cooking.
Tldr: Food doesn't need to be spicy to be flavourful and delicious.
What I am saying is: you cant experience many Asian, African, Middle Eastern dishes and so forth, without being able to tolerate spice. I am not a spice fanatic and I don't think that every food is better with spice, however I do believe that some of the best cuisines in the world heavily utilize it.
I prefer to eat spicy food at home because I'm sweating buckets everytime I eat spicy food, or at least I need cold drinks so I can handle the spice.
It depends on what it is in, I dont like needlessly hot things but I can go about up to a ghost pepper before feeling discomfort (white boy alert)
Nah I'm asian and I can't handle spice that well too, hell I don't even think I can handle ghost pepper, so you don't need to feel bad lmao
yeah im ethinically chinese and I just realised going purely off the scoville ratings it looks like im dogshit if all ive ever eaten in cayenne pepper T-T
I don’t even know, the highest spicy level I could do is the Indian level that’s offered in this one specific Indian restaurant near me and I mostly sweat while also feeling the spice
Chester’s Hot Fries isn’t that spicy to me if that works
I can handle quite a bit of spice. I think my limit is the 3x buldak ramen that's tok much for me
I eat spicy food, I have absolutely 0 clue what my spice level is tho because I am very picky
I can atleast eat cayenne pepper (ive never tried anything hotter than it) but I am below average in spice tolerance in my family.
I can eat spicy as long as it’s weekends. I avoid it on weekdays cause I get stomach ache and don’t wanna fight for my life in office toilet xd
I don't really know because I don't like eating peppers but most common hot sauces don't affect me at all + I'm Asian so I think it is pretty high
Tobacco, sriracha, all of taco bell hot sauce. Those are some examples of popular hot sauces that aren't really spicy. Most of the foods I think are spicy are spicy Korean food but even then I don't really think the are spicy but I can actually taste it unlike the previously mentioned hot sauces which I can't taste at all
No clue, honestly. I don't usually go out of my way to eat spicy so idrk what my tolerance is
I have a sensitive stomach so spice hurts whether or not I can handle it during consumption. The highest would probably be the korean fire noodles with half of their sauce pack LOL.
idk its always changing for some reason.
some days I can firm those korean noodles but other days I can't even get through a hot at nandos
Anything above a Habanero sacrifices flavor for heat for me. Even then I prefer stuff a bit milder — Birds Eye or Scotch Bonnet are perfect.
Some of my favorite dishes are Thai Papaya Salad, Jerk Chicken, and Bún Bò Huế. Sichuan Hotpot is also a good shoutout.
Dont know about ball pepper & stuff but my spice level probably suitable with the top country spice level in this thread
Geting used to spicy dish mean every main dish which not spicy kinda felt tasteless,
this is probably what spicy lover felt like when tasting "something not spicy" that should be spicy
I can handle 20 raw green chili without any problem
I can handle 50 raw chili with.... disaster moment in the toilet
