Cool machine

posted 2 weeks ago

You could say when people really interact with my T2 takes and opinions. I looked back at my history, amazed at how much energy I have into arguing about this lmao, because I certainly have none now lol.

posted 2 weeks ago

I don't really have any particular teams I support in the first place, I never supported Fennel nor gave up on Fennel afaik ,I always put the region first before the orgs. Basically I support any orgs that house more Japanese talents.

posted 2 weeks ago

Might look like I'm stalling atp but I want to leave no regrets here

Ask me anything

posted 2 weeks ago

I am quite saddened as well but I have been planning to do this but kept stalling lol.

I will always Support Japan and VCJ. That is for certain even if this account is gone

I will say some slur in a new thread and in return mods will ban me.

Thank you Vlr

Might come of as parasocial but here goes

Absol ( not pokemon) changed the direction of these account. What started out as a joke account ( the name ) become an account commited fully towards Japanese Valorant. So it is natural for me to create one last thread about him.

I am very glad the fact that the player I supported all this time made his way to T1. Who would have thought my silly predictions and suggestions came true. But I am also aware that he is kinda struggling last season, and I expect he would be having hard time in the this season. But that will not stop me from supporting him, he should know that even if this account is no more , I will still support him and always hope for the day he lifts a trophy.

Thank you Absol

Because it fits my schedule lmao , I can just sit back and watch casually , and it's not like I watched them a lot. I watched EMEA games as in one map and then switch to other videos haha

posted 2 weeks ago

I would like to say I have medium understanding but in reality, I don't really know where I stand on proficiency scale lmao.

Initially I did just that, but as of right now I'm slowly using it often again lol . So I'm getting mods to ban my account,

posted 2 weeks ago

True which is why I called Importing coaches and IGLs should be the trend going forward,

posted 2 weeks ago

I don't like the edited 5 minutes ago status so I will post these here lol.

  1. Dual nationalities and half-Japanese will commit to one nationality only . So no more teams with more than 2 imports because someone is half-Japanese.

This is to prevent another case like Yoshiii, hell a lot of my takes are with Yoshiii in mind lmao

posted 2 weeks ago

Some are worse than the other. Japan imports more than the rest of APAC ( except India ) combined, this is horrendous. While I'm not arguing about banning imports. Japan should be more selective on who gets to join the league, removing or vetting any player that won't further Japan's development

posted 2 weeks ago

IGL speaking in Japanese is not that rare for these to be an obstacle. The amounts of Koreans present in VCJ should serve as an example

Teams in VCJ are big enough to hire a translator , hell might as well even invest in his Japanese language skill. This applies to both import coach and players.

I should've included in the main thread but Japanese coach should be included here as well so he can learn how imports think , think of it as knowledge transfer I guess , where you don't learn what the coach came up with but the thinking behind the strats?

A proficiency test is just better because you don't have to move the whole team just to fit with one or two imports. People hire imports because they expect "adaptation" as part of their jobs anyways. If the import cannot adapt to VCJ then why should they hire him?

posted 2 weeks ago

Ironically outside of T1 and T2 Jp Matches I actually watch more EMEA games rather than PACIFIC ones lmao

posted 2 weeks ago

I named it that way lmao. Basically when Fennel ( I forgot which team it was but I know it's all-Japanese team so it had to be Fennel) lost to I forgot which team. JP Valorant community discussed how VCJ is just essentially just a stepping stone for imports to finally land in T1 teams. The imports have to carry Japanese players to victory ( "weights" )."Muscle Training" as they put it iirc. I would argue that drama is stupid not as to what the drama is about but by how long it took them to realize. I kept arguing about this since I created this account and at that time I was pretty pissed as to how slow the community came to realise this. In retrospect I should've been glad that people finally realised this.

posted 2 weeks ago

I am not. Just some stinky ass weeb who invested way too much time into VCJ lmao

posted 2 weeks ago

The region have limited timeframe to work on improvements . While VCJ is still garnering many views I can feel something is off last season , haven't checked the numbers yet but I can feel the views are decreasing. The vibes around VCJ are not great. Especially with the "muscle training drama". And going forward the views and sentiment are not going to improve for the better. With that I propose that :

  1. Japan should act more like their own separate region rather than being tied down to Jake Sin's decision. This is made possible because Japan has the views to justify this move.

With number 1, now it is possible to regulate imports.

  1. Japanese language proficiency is a must for import player, so no more players like Yoshiii. You don't want to form a team where English proficiency became the primary reason you got into the team in a region where English will still be not spoken widely for a foreseeable future.

  2. No more young and unproven imports. The region has limited resources. And going forward it will be even more restricted, thus investing in a talent that will turn against you in the long run is a bad idea. Import IGLs should and must be the trend going forward.

  3. Hire foreign coaches, Japan needed more outside brains to help in development.

Like I said Japan doesn't have much time and resources left to commit to these improvements, it is best to do it now rather than too late.

Going to miss posting threads like this.

Now I'm quitting VLR anyways it doesn't hurt to tell where I'm from lol. I'm from Medan , the language is still alive and kicking. It's used everyday although the language has been mixed with Indonesian. So it might come out different compared to how Taiwanese spoke the language. It's like I know the he is speaking Hokkien but I might need Subtitles be it English or even Chinese writings to comprehend what he saying beyond basic words and sentences.

By the time you responded to this my account is probably gone

My accent used to be Singlish but now it is covered in something else, not Indonesian but mixed of whatever I feel like that day lmao, but my Singlish will visible if I keep talking lmao

You too bro.

posted 2 weeks ago

Yo bro , been meaning to reach you before I quit. Thanks for interacting with all my nonsense all this time abt VCJ.

I can give you my discord contacts on dm but I don't interact that much on discord so yeah just don't expect much lol

posted 2 weeks ago

I will always be. But the thought that one day I would come to support against the region scares me. I would rather stop before I reach that phase

posted 2 weeks ago

I hated that now that now I ALMOST have no faith in my own region. I don't deserve my name. The worst sin is not believing. I would ratjer quit vlr entirely than having to support another region. In the future I won't have this much time to spare anyways. I want to quit but I'm admittedly addicted to this site. Either mods "ban" me gracefully or I will "ban" myself.

Then they shouldn't be mad about consequences of their actions. I'm not saying that people of the weat outside are pure and naive , but certainly folks over there do nothing to help themselves by calling themselves that.

posted 2 weeks ago

While I find the word quite disdainful ( my vocabulary of the day ) , if they find it so insulting , they shouldn't have used it on themselves.

I know most people outside of the west don't give a fuck about race relation history in US. But they know these rappers who used these words like it's acceptable.

posted 2 weeks ago

Thank God I didn't interact any thread about it lmao

posted 2 weeks ago

I don't support Whzyglazer's statement but I find it funny and downright hypocritical for people to call him out while 911 jokes are somewhat allowed socially.

I was made as a represntative of VCJ since today. Try your luck at twitter, sometimes they announce tryouts I would encourage it if you can lead Japanese players and therefore contribute to the region's development ( preferably no import players, all-japanese team)

Contact me at :

For further clarification so I can help you looking for open tryouts.

I was joking about contacting me , but that bit about twitter is serious.

@pirateflag come explain how lol

Maybe because NA T2 is inherently better , not because of T1 teams are located in US. Moving there would not change anything for the better, in fact it would lead to worse outcome for everyone

posted 2 weeks ago

Even you admitted it yourself that moving to AMERICAS means losing quality scrims

posted 2 weeks ago

Might as well change your title to let's make AMERICAS weaker globally.

And honestly fuck them for coming up with those shitty opinions. I'm not apologizing for anything. What do you mean I should be open-minded?

As good as it sounds unless I'm interacting with him daily I'm just going to be a nuisance lol

Good for entry level , but beyond that books clear. The best is through practice, but to practice you needed some guidance and the best is usually in the books

I mean the th- and D- sound

Speaking of mandarin, I seriously think they need to put a lot of emphasis on pinyins. Because Oh my God some cannot even remember them. Some cannot differentiate between T and D

Twin, I need someone to read it so I can make sense of what the sentence is trying to tell but it's not that big of an improvement lmao.

posted 3 weeks ago

But the differences can't be that huge lol

posted 3 weeks ago

I tried learning Japanese on duolingo, it's not good. Legit 3 hours of E books saves you hours of Duolingo. I heard that Duolingo is more suited for romnace and germanic languages. But I don't think the differences are THAT huge

posted 3 weeks ago

Pointless controversy , who tf actually learns from Duolingo.
