Your VLR rating has pretty much nothing to do with how good you are at your role
(Also TenZ's agent pool is Gekko KAY/O Omen, not exactly a controller of the year kind of agent pool)

g2 performed consistently (-icy) all year round and so was valyn (as a controller), 100T and SEN fell off hard after their highs
Valyn's IGLing and gameplay all year round gave them two Grand Finals, 100+ kills game on controller and Two lan appearances I would say it is deserved for sure

he isn't, there is no traditional controller player on SEN at all, they just allocate the role based on who's the best on the meta controller on any given map
Give it the name or the reason you like. Reality is he pretty much has only played Omen this year aside from 6 or 7 maps on Kayo another 2 or 3 on Gekko, and a bit of yoru at the start of the year
He needs to fight with kaplan so that he doesn't have to play Omen even if it benefits his team. He should play all 50 smoke agents to prove kxtqhf that he is a controller player despite that role being his most played role this year. That's definitely a very valid argument.
Even if you could consider him a smokes player, he is still not the best in the world at the role or even the flex role.
