its different. drx need someone who can lift up the mood in and outside the game. old drx doesn't have a mood maker.

buzz is more emotional than hype, it was a double edged sword because when they would lose close maps he would the best one to tilt as well. stax is kinda similar

the two new kids are much more positive-forward

Agree. Mako was ice man so his performance doesn't really get affected by emotions unlike the rest of the team. When DRX fall apart, it's because vibes are low. I think this younger roster adds more life into the team which is probably what DRX needed so that they stop choking like they used to. It's still too early to say but this team looks more resilient to comebacks compared the the old team, and they throw a lot less.

Always thought RB and Zest being removed was a good decision, those guys were the chokers in the team

RB costed Mako Iceland (Mako deserves a trophy and was the best player that event) and Zest didn't have the firepower (he did save some rnds but he was invisible in so many rnds)

Wow who would've thought that even without RB they'd still be good in APAC regular season. Problem with DRX has never been regular season, it's been LAN playoffs. Obviously we haven't seen Beyn yet but at least they made a change after RB has been the worst playoff LAN performer since the games inception.
