CSGO has more concurrent players, but Valorant certainly has better viewership prospects. Given time, more players might go to play Valorant. That being said, more players play LoL than Valorant, but that doesnt mater LoL better. Quantity does not translate into Quality. More players played CoD than CS for many years because millions of American hamburgers played on their xbox, but CS was clearly superior. That being said, I think if source 2 DOES come, it will breathe new life into the game, especially as Valorant becomes more and more stagnant given the horrific state of ranked.

All that's posted here is stuff about valorant. I don't think I've seen a csgo thread on here in a while, until now at least...
both games helped each other. CS was indeed getting stale a couple years ago but when valo came to the scene, it made the distinction better which in turn helped CS to regain its unique identity. The contrast between two games we currently have is healthy for the FPS scene.

Of course valorant has more players it's literally played world wide. Look at Japan they sold out a lan final in like 10 minutes. Then u have apac turkey india Brazil NA EU Korean and soon China.
In CS its dead everywhere other than EU and Brazil cause NA isnt even playing cs all that much. And also fill with bots and cheaters.

ppl still find games for tf2 xd . Obviously its still play there's a hardcore playerbase for the game but since NA pro scene move over all the young zoomer kids are playing fortnite or valorant.
