sadge, but kinda expected after the purp0 news and since nats still been streaming in their bootcamp even after jamppi left. i wonder if fnc can make it with chronicle in jp.
so UK is a location tough for Russian players to get VISA. RIP future masters and champions location for UK.

There won't be vct LANs anywhere else this year
Apart from lock//in sao Paulo. Nothing planned for UK as far as vct goes
i meant source for "there wont be vct LANs anywhere else this year". i dont remember that being mentioned. i knew the franchising locations already. i thought all the teams would have to be based in those three cities. i might be wrong but that doesnt necessarily mean that all the LANs will only happen in those three cities this year...
Masters and Champions are part of Valorant Champions TOUR. It should be held outside of the franchise cities.
THATS what i was thinking, right? but i assumed that there would be a LAN in different cities, like tokyo. but seoul and LA are still 2 really good spots to hold LANs imo, so idk, masters and champions could still be held in the 3 franchising cities.
If masters/champions held in LA (USA), we could very well see not only Russians, but SEA players from Pacific missing due to VISA as well. Masters/Champions should be held in country that has easier/friendlier access to VISA.

From the announcement video, I took the franchise locations as hubs for where the LANS willbe held. BUT that might just be the local / regional matches. We'll see I guess

Sad but expected after purp0 news and nAts is still streaming from Liquid HQ and Redgar is nowhere to be found while all the other guys are in Manchester already.
Also out of topic interesting that they got Meddo and Enzo. Might be hinting that we will see Redgar on initiators and soulcas on controllers for most part. Maybe Enzo was just the best option they could get, but Meddo fits in for nAts' role already so maybe Enzo fits in for Redgar's role.
I thought they got meddo to play viper/sentinels and that jamppi would be playing smokes, but idk honestly. I thought soulcas was the flex player and sayf was the primary duelist.
No way Jamppi would be playing smokes when they have both Redgar and Soulcas on the team. Both can play controllers and initiators. Ofc its unclear for this specific event considering that they don't have Redgar there. I personally believed/predicted that soulcas and Redgar will take on the controller and initiator roles -nAts Viper. While Sayf and Jamppi are likely going to be the duelist and flex duo. Who is who is hard to say right now. Jamppi was grinding bunch of Raze earlier in the off-season but then again Sayf said on stream that he is going to be the flex player if I'm not completely wrong.
but if you talk about this specific event then everything is possible. I just thought it was interesting that they got Enzo who is primary initiator player instead of trying to find smokes player or something. And that could tease us that soulcas will be the main controller player for this team and tbh it would make sense. Ofc roles aren't set and even Enzo could pick controllers.

Thanks didn't see this myself. Still bit unknown with roles but its good time to test stuff out for future.
i meant that only for the red bull home ground jamppi will play smokes, not for the whole year.
purp0 can't attend RedBull Homegrounds due to visa issues just like nAts and Redgar. It got published yesterday and Iluri was announced as the stand-in for Fokus.
