crazy how everyone collectively forgot how hard xset shit the bed at copenhagen
okay so give trent a second tournament to bounce back too, it's just kinda weird to call him overhyped after 1 lan appearance, also only judging asuna for his most recent lan when he popped off in berlin
This is what I’ve been saying since Reykjavik. I bet if guard had a chance to play in Istanbul they would’ve bounced back just like XSET.
Lol he did not pop off in Berlin the guy shat the bad the same way, his stats were a little bit better only because he was a main duelist

he beat the shopify rebellion gc team right after berlin
Aight I take it back actual goat behavior right there this kid is the greatest prodigy NA has ever seen
Alfa pounds tho, and you're basing trent's performance on two maps more than half a year ago
Bro trent was farming in lcq. I remember he was like 24 2 in aim duel against shroud. The sen vs guard game trent hard carried like 2 maps.
Cause AlFajer literally was the 2nd coming of Christ in stage 2 challengers , the man was popping of through out the tournament and yes while he did cool off later on he was still incredible in both lans
“Asuna chokes when it matters”
Guess you didn’t watch NA LCQ 2022, Stage 2 Challengers, Stage 1 Challengers, Masters Berlin comeback against GMB & Acend, or the entire First Strike era huh?
b-but he didn't put up the same stats on kayo and skye as he did on jett and reyna! 😱
That's just how people on this site work, player doesn't put up insane stats in 1 tournament and they're all of a sudden overrated or bad and worse than a player who had their first good tournament. They don't realize how hard these players work, and just see recent stats and base it off that.
you are probably misinterpreting the hype the fans had. A good chunk of the excitement came because he was a really good player and the rest of the hype was generated because he was young Turkish talent finally playing on an international stage for the first time. In this case, it isn't surprising to see fans hold him to a high standard.
How was alfajer overhyped? He was performing really good in Istanbul and decent enough in Copenhagen
