PRX salary

From what I heard prx players are paid around 3k USD monthly, which while it doesn't sound like much compare to any western teams, for people living in Indonesia or Malaysia it is quite alot as the normal average pay in Malaysia is 3k rm monthly, or roughly 700 USD monthly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Indonesia should be fairly similar. Both countries cost of living is very low if u were to convert to USD, so a salary of 3k USD + price winnings ( esp PRX achievements ) is quite alot for the country they are in excluding probably Singapore.

Albeit if they were to go overseas or got picked up by rich orgs then they most definitely would get paid alot more.

What is the salary of western players

#6
Alova02

Frags

From what I heard roughly 10k - 30k?? Monthly. Though u gotta take into account the cost of living and the orgs that are paying them are those that have been in eSports for years, compare to most orgs that are in Asia which have only been active for a few years at most.

thats mostly na, in eu the players in good teams get paid mostly like 5k(those who dont have that much of social media or twitch presence and arent the igl or star player)

#7

15-30k per month.

For Top EU orgs (rich ones) it’s basically the same but for the rest of them, the drop off is much lower

I’d assume an average of 8-10k a month, with larger names/streamers getting payed upwards of 20k to 30k a month

why would a potential esports superstar go to college, when if i think most esports players arent that good in studies, even if they are its no way he is that smart that he'll get more money from a college degree than being a top esports player

#36

Stable income is more valuable. Esports is a volatile market, if he became a sports star, then sure, but valorant could die next year for all we know

#39

From a indirect contact I heard that Forsaken will probably go to America next year. A org with a lot of money in Asia wanted to buy him out but Forsaken declined saying he will go to NA next year. I'm not 100% sure tho if this is still the case when PRX could get to franchising with luck, but if they don't, there is probably good chance he will go for the bag and go to a good team either in NA or EMEA.

firstly valorant wont die. if his team reaches top 4 he should be making around a million every year including the prize pool salary and streaming money, 2-3 year of that makes much more money than 10 years of stable income in indonesia

In Average, fresh graduate in Singapore get around 3k SGD salary.

Singaporean fresh graduates actually earn around 3.8k SGD (median), average is probably higher. And it also depends on the field they are working in, IT graduates usually earn way more.

The fact that Prx is soon gonna separate (Jingg military service, and after that f0rsaken gonna accept high offer from NA/EU) is sad, apac need to build another superteam soon.

Forsaken from his interview, can still change but looking from his brother pretty sure he will consider if get big offer than stay in prx.

If they built new supperteam it will end same as with prx. Famous brand have to come to OCE and concurrence must grow. Otherwise every good players will want to go to na/eu maybe japan

#89
Alovant
0
Frags
+

it would depends though cause with franchising, one of the major reasons to do so have suddenly dissapear, Finance.

Riot would be supplying orgs with money and sponsors would follow superteams / teams with huge fanbases, meaning the players would have an even less incentive to throw away a guaranteed lottery for going overseas and MAYBE playing in a more competitive scene ( this is highly volatile as the future of the 3 major regions is anything but fixed ). Plus going overseas to another continent is a really big commitment for most, as your now really far away from any past bonds u have be it familial or friends.

In Thailand player get around 300-600 usd per month

I think this is one of the reason why Pati moved out for OWL to get paid 14,000-15,000 usd per month

#82
