The announcement comes shortly after FNC team director Colin "CoJo" Johnson spoke on X Spaces, revealing plans for the offseason: that players with expiring contracts would be allowed to explore options, and that trials for next year's team have already begun.

ENGH's announcement shared that he is most open to opportunities in Japan, Americas, and EMEA. In Japan, he is looking for a long-term project to build a competitive roster while also developing local staff with an intent on learning Japanese. In Americas, he shared that he is open to projects in North and South America. In EMEA, ENGH shared that he has an interest in building and leading an all-Russian/Commonwealth of Independent States roster, and that he is open to organizations ready to invest in CIS talent. ENGH also shared that he is open to other opportunities outside of that list.

The 2026 season was a chaotic one for ENGH. ENGH has been coaching in professional Valorant since its earliest days.
