The result whittled down the Americas region to just one team while keeping EMEA's hopes of its first Masters title since 2023 alive.

The series was played out on FUT's Ascent and G2's Lotus. FUT won Ascent 13-6 and then won a thriller Lotus 15-13 to send G2 home.

G2 stayed with a familiar concept on Ascent, fielding Phoenix, Omen, Sova, and Vyse, while continuing to tinker with jawgemo 's role. After previously trying out Yoru and Neon, another fold was added, with the Duelist player on Waylay for this map. Meanwhile, FUT moved away from its Phoenix-Neon comp, going with a double-Sentinel look that split the double-Duelist pair, with s0pp on Jett and xeus on Sage.

While already boasting one of the world's most lethal Havens, FUT flexed its Ascent, enjoying some upstream success on the attack side. Early on, FUT was flawless. In-game leader sociablEE orchestrated a slippery attack side, getting the Turkish squad out to a 6-0 lead. A slower FUT round, perhaps expecting some aggression from G2, resulted in G2's first round, but FUT still entered halftime up 9-3.

yetujey 's lurks on attack were big for FUT, and his clutch ability carried over onto attack. While G2 won the pistol to open its own attack, FUT turned up the heat on defense, with yetujey wrapping up a map to remember in style.

Lotus, one of the strongest maps in G2's pool, followed, with G2 opting for its classic double-Controller with Vyse while FUT picked a double-Duelist comp with Neon and Raze. Both teams traded hero rounds to begin the map, with leaf the biggest hero to start, with a 12/2 scoreline to open the map. While G2 remained relatively in control, FUT kept the chaos high, creating enough disarray to enter halftime down just 7-5.

On FUT's attack, G2 seemed to struggle with a change of pace, with a tech pause temporarily stopping play for both sides as well. G2 started the half on the right foot with an eco round following a FUT pistol, and the back-and-forth nature of play continued up until G2 reached map point up 12-11. While FUT had a lower buy for the final round of regulation, scrappiness and well-coordinated team play forced overtime at the death.

After enjoying more success on attack, both teams won their defense rounds in overtime to start, with FUT coming out on top thanks to heroics from the youngest player in London.

sociablEE and yetujey both had 37 kills in the series, which tied for the most in the server, while the IGL's 1.22 rating was by far the best. A well-rounded performance on all front for both teams saw every player record at least 30 kills, with leaf's 34 leading the way in G2's losing effort.

With the win, FUT secures at least three Championship Points, which could put the Turkish side in a strong position to qualify for Champions Shanghai. With the loss, G2 leaves London finishing 7th-8th.
