Coming into the match, expectations were high for Pacific's second seeded Full Sense. Prior to facing Paper Rex Paper Rex Asia-Pacific Rank #1 invy Adrian Jiggs Reyes Jinggg Wang Jing Jie f0rsakeN Jason Susanto d4v41 Khalish Rusyaidee something Ilya Petrov in the grand final, they had flawlessly swept through the rest of the playoffs, with star player primmie looking to be in untouchable form. FUT, on the other hand, were much more of a wildcard as the third seed from EMEA, and came into the match as underdogs.

The first map was Full Sense's map pick of Fracture, a map that FUT had regularly banned throughout Stage 1. Despite their inexperience on the map, FUT was well off enough for themselves, taking an early lead with a pistol round win. Full Sense quickly equalized at 2-2, but an eco round from clean Sherrif shots from xeus helped win FUT their following eco round.

The Duelist duo of xeus and s0pp make waves on their debut stage.

That eco round gave FUT the confidence they needed to start running over Full Sense. s0pp in particular, a rookie on the stage, oozed confidence as he gunned down his opposition with ease. It wasn't long before FUT won the map 13-3

The young gun styles his way to his first international map win.

“They didn't change a single thing,” said head coach Vlad after the map win. “It made it super easy for us.”

Haven started out much the same as Fracture had ended, with FUT easily coming away with the pistol round. Needing to get momentum on their side early, Full Sense forced into round two, and finally won their first round in a long time, and turned it into their first lead of the series at 2-1. However, that was as far as they'd get, as the half quickly turned into a rerun of Fracture, where FUT was completely outdoing Full Sense at every turn. It wasn't long until the score read 10-2 at halftime.

KROSTALY solo holds off the attack.

In the second half, Full Sense finally started to put some rounds together. primmie finally found his Stage 1 form, and helped Full Sense start forming semblances of a comeback. It was too little too late, however, as FUT soon closed out the map 13-7, winning the series in 2-0 fashion.

FUT advances in the Swiss stage, now one win away from making playoffs, while Full Sense will need to win their next match to avoid elimination.
