The second week of EMEA Stage 2 has concluded, putting another 10 matches in the books. The matches this week played out as follows:

Currently topping Group Alpha is FUT Esports, who picked up two wins this week against PCIFIC and BBL. PCIFIC, still hunting for their first win in VCT, put up a fight against FUT, making map one close and taking map two in overtime, but were ultimately completely outclassed in map three, falling in a 13-1 loss.

FUT's match against BBL was more competitive, pitting the two top Turkish teams against each other. A monstrous performance from FUT's usually less flashy KROSTALY helped them win the series. Now leading EMEA in championship points, they seem ripe to make an appearance at Champions in Shanghai.

KROSTALY found both a 1v3 and an Ace on Split.

Closely behind FUT is all three of BBL, Gentle Mates, and Vitality. The former two took wins over NAVI, who, after a strong win against FUT to start the stage, has completely tumbled down the rankings to a 1-3 record. PCIFIC sits at the bottom of the group as another loss this week to Vitality continues their winless streak.

In Group Omega, Karmine Corp remains on top, but not without some struggles. Their first match of the week was an incredibly close bout with FNATIC. Karmine Corp won map two with ease with a dominant performance from Avez, but was completely equally matched with FNATIC on maps one and three. Both maps came down to overtime, where FNATIC was able to clutch out both times, winning the series 2-1.

Though a quieter season from kaajak , he still has his big moments.

Karmine Corp bounced back in their next match, however, as they put up an utter destruction of the reigning EMEA champions Team Heretics. A 13-4 and 13-2 stomp made a statement that week one was not a flash in the pan, and that they are a contender for the EMEA Champions slot.

Utmost confidence from dos9 as he takes four with ease.

On the backside of their victory against Karmine Corp, FNATIC looked to rise back to the top of EMEA, but were quickly pulled back down to reality. In their next match against Team Liquid, they found themselves completely and utterly humbled, losing 13-6 and 13-5. Since nAts ' return from his first match absence, Liquid has gone 4-0 in maps, and look to contest Karmine Corp at the top of their group.

Finally, Eternal Fire, who went on a surprising run in Stage 1, seem to have fallen back down to reality. Despite bringing in a new duelist in Spear , who Aced on just his third round in VCT, they have failed to win a map in any of their past three matches. They were shutout 13-0 against Team Heretics, and were even stomped by GIANTX, who only just found their first win of the stage.

RieNs makes an impossible clutch.

The group stage will conclude with its third and final week featuring the following matchups:
