IGL debate is different than GOAT debate

No but they are not at the levels of Leo, Derke, Alfajer and Chronicle. Individual wise and i am an NRG fan.

sure he'd be content with beating boaster once, but let's see each of their Igling credentials: boaster has been igling fnatic for 5 years, in these 5 years hes made 6 vct international finals, and multiple regional finals. in all of these finals he's igled multiple iterations of rosters. now ethan. in 2024 when igling NRG, NRG went 9th-10th in stage 1 and had to have FNS save his ass for stage 2. in 2025, sure he improved as a leader, but the fact that he has a better duelist, senti, and initiator probably helps with the fact as well.
ethan has been igling for less than a year and he is two series away from overtaking boaster’s entire career
how about we wait till the trophy is tangible and not hypothetical? we can say if all we want but unless Ethan actually wins Santiago we can put this to rest and say ethan is better than boaster?

If boaster had gone -30 and won tokyo I could've agreed he got carried by leo and alfa. As for lock/in his calling was one of the reason the comeback happened from 3-11 against loud. As a player ethan is far greater than boaster but igl he's still mid let him prove something without bonkar as coach then we can debate if he's greater than boaster as igl
