The VCT Global Contract Database shares that Foxy9's current contract with Gen.G runs until the end of the 2026 season.

He shared that he is open to playing for a team in any region, and that he can speak Japanese, has limited proficiency in Chinese, and is willing to learn English.

Foxy9 joined Gen.G ahead of the 2025 season, following two years with DRX. He had big shoes to replace, as Gen.G was looking to replace Sentinel player Meteor . A new-look Gen.G started the year off with a third-place finish at Pacific Kickoff, which, while strong, meant the organization would miss its first international event after making all three in 2024. Gen.G made a change following Kickoff, which moved Foxy9 to the bench. However, this spell on the sidelines lasted just two matches, with Foxy9 being reintroduced into the starting lineup in the third week of Stage 1. Gen.G achieved a second-place finish in the event, where Foxy9 finished as the team's highest-rated player, albeit with fewer maps played.

Gen.G stuck with the roster that it finished Stage 1 with, which led to a 5th-6th finish at Masters Toronto, but a disappointing 7th-8th at Stage 2, which eventually meant Gen.G would miss out on Champions Paris altogether.

Since the end of the season, Gen.G has parted ways with in-game leader Munchkin , Lakia , and coach peri .
