Which map was this? I missed the whole game

posted 3 months ago

yes Buzz was ranking up his alt account, it's uploaded on DRX's main yt channel

posted 5 months ago

But so many pro players do that on stream, to play with their low elo friends, using someone else's account. I guess this is just a Japanese thing. I guess they get Koreans and Russians to play in the scene so they don't care enough to not develop the Japanese scene.

posted 5 months ago

I don't see how smurfing or playing on other accounts in ranked is an issue, many Korean players do it, Buzz even uploaded a video about reaching diamond from his other account. Why does this seem an issue?

Damn, that ascent last round 1v3 cost this match to fennel

They won't, seems like they're sticking with the Japanese-only rule. In their HQ video, they probably had the new player in it as he was blurred. Crow has been there since absolute Jupiter CSGO days and probably has more brain power, he did igled his way in Reykjavik and also dominated in japan at the start. Laz said he usually does the mid-round calls before.

posted 5 months ago

To be specific they said crow = coach, ten and XQQ = cc

posted 5 months ago

No. He didn't want to move to Korea for franchising because he wanted to get his degree first. He mentioned in his stream his parents wanted him to have a degree before going full time pro

I remember Sliggy and William saying in Platchat or in the stream, the team is really good but they just need a newer game plan as they are really readable and their mental is really weak against said strong teams.

posted 6 months ago

yeah, laz has been streaming so much lately, I am worried they let all 5 of them go. Tenn used to randomly stream long hours before so not that surprised but Laz's streaming pattern was fix no matter what events matches were but he is streaming a lot and long hours. But he also said they wil surely have new members/change roster for new season so not sure

posted 9 months ago

He was injured so he was out, do you expect him to play with an injured arm?

posted 9 months ago

Yesterday, Laz was saying something in his stream about roster change/team issues, I am not good at Japanese so don't know what exactly he said

posted 9 months ago

It's more stereotypical, if I am talking about k/j/c-pop people assume I am female but if I talk about Val/Pubg/Lego/anime they just assume I am a male

Zeta has a set rule for players as well, they want only Japanese to avoid the language barrier issue. Zeta is the sole team since Absolute Jupiter days, to not having a single non-japanese player/coach/staff.

posted 10 months ago

He said yesterday, his primary focus is EMEA so he has to prioritize EMEA league, not forgetting he is cc for one of the league teams.

I'll be there as well

Rough Translation for Laz video:
Casters: Laz-san, we knew you'll win, we were supporting(or believed in) you. Thank you for your hard work. How are you feeling(Tell us about your feelings)?
Laz: My voice is stuck. I can't even think I am so happy(starts crying)
Sorry if i translated something wrong, I'm not so good at Japanese(still learning)

posted about a year ago

Been following him since last year's japan qualifiers. It took three international tournaments just to watch him be so happy and laugh.
