After Riot released the Global Power Rankings with several trustworthy parameters, we no longer need biased stats from users who create random rankings with an EMEA bias. Since there are 16 teams in the champion, My region ranking is based on the number of top teams each region has in the top 16

yeah but why is 16 the best number? make that 21 and suddenly EMEA is in 2nd. you need to look at all the teams, not cut off at some arbitrary number

the algo use elo system and trajectory recent form, so it gives/lose more points for upset result. thats how NRG is so high up

Yes but winning vs a team doesn't say much. Detailed map data is 100% available for them and they can definitely use that to create a much better rating system. TL 3-0 in EMEA and NRG 0-3 in NA and all because they won over a obvious struggling sentinels they get higher on the leaderboard?

i think the ranking board would look better if theres a green and red indicator that shows who's going up and down, its there but they havent updated to use it yet

Yeah for sure more detailed info inregards to what matters. I mean I would love to know personally how Apeks is 43rd rather than 48th if they haven't won anything at all...

EDIT: I can see that it is based on the placements on the leaderboard.

They need to add extra points for Qualifying for International and making the top 4 international, and the International match needs to be more valued than the regional matches.
