Unfortunately, shortly before the Split 2 playoffs that qualified the Ascension teams, wedid was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of cancer. In spite of his condition, he did his best to play out the season to its end, but with his deteriorated health, DarkZero was eliminated early on in playoffs.

Luckily, wedid was able to recover from his condition and now lives cancer-free, and returned to Challengers in 2025. M80 signed the remaining Turtle Troop core, whom wedid played excellently with, but ultimately was replaced with the upcoming Brazilian talent Sato . He then moved to YFP YFP North America Rank #16 jakee Jake Anderson bdog Brandon Sanders stellar Brenden McGrath thief Brady Dever to reunite with other members of Turtle Troop, but the team couldn't keep up with the new talent in the league.

wedid revealed that after returning from cancer treatment, he has been struggling with severe performance anxiety that has made it difficult to continue competing. However, he will remain part of the scene as a streamer and content creator.
