FURIA FURIA Brazil Rank #2 announced they have signed Felipe "liazzi" Galiazzi and Pedro "Koy" Pulig, formerly of Keyd Stars Keyd Stars Inactive , and Ilan "havoc" Eloy of The Union The Union Inactive . FURIA's new trio will complete its 2024 roster.
Headlining the announcement is havoc, one of the top-rated players in Brazil throughout 2023. Under The Union, he finished VCL Brazil Split 1 on top of the charts across numerous statistics. Even though havoc stepped down in Split 2 due to personal reasons, he was still considered one of the best players in regional competition when the competitive season ended, which led to him being sought-after by LOUD LOUD Brazil Rank #1 , Leviatán Leviatán Latin America South Rank #1 , and MIBR MIBR Brazil Rank #4 before finally landing on a deal with FURIA.
Koy led Keyd Stars to two top placements this year, despite the team never lifting a trophy. During their 2023 run — where The Union beat them to the Split 1 title — liazzi was one of the team's most consistent and best-rated members. In Keyd's Split 2 run, which they ultimately finished in fourth, liazzi finished the season behind pollo in rating, despite being the stronger man in the playoffs.
FURIA's three new members round off a five-man roster, after the team spent most of 2023 with six players. The panthers let three of its players go alongside long-time coach Carlos "Carlao" Mohn during the offseason.
The shuffle followed FURIA's lackluster 2023 season, during which the roster struggled to break into the top four of the Americas League, where they finished in the top six. FURIA repeated that placement in the Americas LCQ a few weeks later.
