Eremin has announced that he has been allowed to explore his options ahead of the offseason.
"My contract is expiring soon and I am still in talks with XLG, but I am allowed to explore other options," he said. "LFT for VCT 2026 as a Head coach/assistant for any region."
hvoya has been XLG's head coach for the past two seasons, leading them to trophy-winning campaigns at the China National Competition: Season 2 and eventually China Ascension in 2024. Led by hvoya in their debut season in the VCT, XLG hit the ground running. After a 5th-6th finish at China Kickoff, XLG went 4-1 in the Stage 1 group stage, and then went nearly perfect in the playoffs, dropping just one map en route to lifting the trophy and qualifying for Masters Toronto.
After facing a swift elimination two games into their campaign at Toronto, XLG went 4-1 in the Stage 2 group stage. They finished fourth in the playoffs, but ended the year with enough championship points to qualify for Champions Paris. With fellow Ascension squad
