why does Potter keep recycling players? tex had 2 years of mediocre, inconsistent performances on leviatan.
i am really questioning potter's scouting ability.

Maybe it's the org not wanting to invest money into tier 1 bigshots and them having ego issues which lead to not wanting to get tier 2 stars
EG is poor, those are the players they can afford, mainly the rest of the dish of the NA circle
so recycling mid tier 1 players for minimum salary ✅
signing tier 2 player for minimum salary ❌
brother no team other than cubert is giving their players for free or any price affordable enough for EG
There's tier 2 teams paying more than eg is and there are players who just have zero interest in going to eg no matter that they're a tier 1 team. The pool is smaller than you think.
Two years of being mediocre and inconsistent is nothing compared to Yay’s three years of being complete ass and a burden on any team.
Notice a pattern in Potter's choice? Demon1, yay, and Tex. Players that plays the same role because she wants to replicate her success and tex is a well experienced player (might had a mediocre year but he is still good)
tex isnt anything like demon1 or yay tho, tex is better on raze and rifles than on jett and op, if anything he should be icy´s replacement, not yay´s
Tex is a more mediocre version of demon1 and yay but with more flexibility, I agree with you a hundred percent how their playstyles differ but in reality tex is more flexible and not far off from their 2025 performance (Not saying tex is a better player in general)
EG is broke my brother why else did you think they get the scraps of teams post 2023
that's the whole point. EG tends to pick up players that are willing to settle for a low contract. It's decent value considering a lot of these players have high upside
you do realise most tier 2 players will sign to a franchise team for the minimum salary if it means being able to play in tier 1
So? that makes T2 players deserve automatically a spot on a team? sometimes players are picked by how they work on a system, not just for being individually good players (which T2 has a lot, don't get me wrong), but maybe it just doesn't fit.
Also Potter has been known for making "teams" or "systems" work, not necessarily with big stars. People tend to forgot that sometimes.
him getting a 3k once every 5 series is really making you think he isn't below mid
2024 Kick off: 0.75 rated (5th on lev and bottom 3 in americas)
2024 Stage 1: 0.93 rated (4th on lev)
2024 Stage 2: 1.05 rated (4th on lev)
2024 Champs: 0.88 rated (5th on lev and bottom 15 player at champs)
I think his role on the team hurt his stats quite a bit, playing with aspas baiting you is not ideal. But with his 2025 performances idk if he could have played much better
yeah bro, aspas baiting was totally holding him back... that’s why he somehow managed to get worse without him.
tex played worse when aspas left, how can yall always blame things on someone you dont like? its his individual performance man, is aspas the one in the wrong because he didnt use his mouse and tex´s to click heads at the same time?
i mean i agree at some point. if you can't pay tier 1 salaries, then just sign unproven tier 2 prospects and hope they reach their full potential.
