Hae-seong (김해성) to lead the team's coaching staff.
Before his time with DFM, HSK competed in Counter Strike: Global Offensive alongside many familiar faces such as Kim "stax" Gu-taek (김구택), Pyeon "termi" Seon-ho (편선호) and Son "xeta" Seon-ho (손선호) for around five years before switching over to Valorant with many of his peers.
As a player, HSK was unable to break through the upper echelons of the Japanese scene, and took up the mantle of coach for the team ahead of the 2023 VCT.
Unfortunately, the roster struggled immensely throughout the year following a swift exit from LOCK//IN and was subsequently unable to keep up with the competition within the Pacific League. Of their 18 maps played, DFM only managed to win two throughout their stay at the league. Relegated to the Pacific LCQ after going winless, the organization bid farewell to HSK halfway through the year.
Gen.G had a slightly better season; despite also exiting LOCK//IN early to eventual grand finalists

In preparation for the 2024 VCT, Gen.G released most of its active roster, which also included the coaching staff. With the addition of HSK, the team is still three players away from a complete roster. The organization recently announced it was hosting tryouts to fill the vacant spots.
Slowly rebuilding,
