Version1 Version1 Inactive have registered Brady "thief" Dever in the upcoming Champions Tour North America Stage 3 qualifier, with George Geddes of Upcomer reporting thief will be a temporary stand-in for Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro during Challengers 1.

thief will be temporarily replacing the suspended Zellsis, who was handed a suspension by Riot earlier this month for making a "categorically offensive and discriminatory remark about a tournament official." Zellsis' suspension will run through the first Challenger Open Qualifier and Main Event of Stage 3.

The former Luminosity Gaming player was benched from the starting roster a month ago alongside stellar. Since then, a report from Geddes has suggested that their replacements will come in the form of ban and dazzLe.

This is not the first time that Version1 have had to play with a substitute player. Prior to Masters: Reykjavik, the team was playing with Maxim "wippie" Shepelev, but due to visa complications the team had to find a substitute. They eventually brought on Jamal "jammyz" Bangash, who played with the team throughout Masters: Reykjavik.

Champions Tour North America stage 3 competition will begin on July 1.
