only team that came close was LOUD
NAVI the second best EMEA team didn't even took a map of them
maybe NRG, LOUD or DRX at Tokyo?

They have setplays, aim, resilience, fundamentals
All of that with reasonably few practice time, imagine how FNC will look at the next events

They'll be beaten during EMEA's league fs (at least during group stage)
NAVI and Liquid are the teams I would bet on that.

lulquid with soulcass - 0.5% chance
lulquid with no soulcass - 10% chance

I do agree that soulcas is mid tier but the rest of the team is incredible.
As long as soulcas do not troll the game they can 4x5 all the other teams in EMEA aside from FNC and NAVI. And if soulcas has a good game then they can win

When nats is on point he can 1v5 on ascent and fracture, even vs prx he won 5 rounds solo

Yep, but NRG lost to LOUD again, because in that time he didn't choke

Cauanzin also shined on that ascent map against DRX, and here you are blaming him for the team losing 9 rounds in a row.

Cauanzin carried Loud on Ascent, he got many untraded first kills

NAVI def can.

Giants/TL can on a good day.

The S tier teams can. The thing is lock in is still a single elimination tournament. Valorant requires a lot of strat and counterstratting.

Loud just needs to fix their ascent comp and gg

they already have a better map pool than fnatic

Loud is still the best team itw an icebox win on overtime doesnt change it.

NAVI and LOUD has a chance. NRG even, not sure about DRX tho in a best of 3. Honestly speaking, this Fnatic roster seems way too deadly in a BO3.

I think with more time other teams will find ways to counterstrat them

Undefeated run in VCT then nuke everyone in Tokyo as reigning champs.

We're one event in to Franchising after 80% of the org's rosters had a notable change. We haven't even had the regional leagues start yet. Fnatic is definitely good, but I don't think they're unstoppable (just yet). Let them play every EMEA team and make another run at Tokyo, and then we'll see what the actual landscape of valorant is too.

(Also no one position at Tokyo is guaranteed, we're at a point where on any given day, the worst team could upset the best team, and it's about to make valorant so much fun to watch)

Basing on results from Lock In is braindead, teams will improve and some will bring surprises🗿

Any S-tier team like Loud, NRG, DRX, Navi can defeat them in the future...some good team like Furia or TL (if they can fix their problem) could also defeat them.

I mean given they were out playing the most, they'll probably one of the easy teams to counter because of how much other teams have seen of them.

Starting the league off with a double header doesn't help Fnatic either. Both teams will be zoned in looking to take that EMEA crown from them.

That's what.
It's a double edged sword. Time will tell what happens.

Reykjavik 2nd: Fnatic, didn't even qualify for EMEA Masters 3 qualifications
Berlin 2nd: Envy, got grouped in Champions after losing to X10.
Champions 2nd: Gambit, didn't qualify to any international LAN afterwards
Reykjavik 2022 2nd: LOUD, got grouped in Copenhagen after losing to KRU and OpTic
Copenhagen 2nd: PRX, got grouped in Champions 2022 after losing to LEV and TL
Champions 2022 2nd: OpTic, org didn't even make it to franchising lol

not looking good for LOUD, but maybe they can break the curse

LOUD can definetly win, if they almost reverse swept Fnatic now i believe with a bit more trainning they can indeed win againts Fnatic.
