Every NA teams looks strong while the bottom EMEA teams seem pretty weak. I think its because of the slot distribution, NA only had 5 teams so the best players got picked while talent got distributed more in EMEA with 10 teams, not to mention the fact that BBL/FUT/Kcorp decided to stick to one country teams instead of trying to make a better roster. Still feel EMEA is just top heavy, and their top 3 teams will be better than top 3 NA/Americas teams. Thoughts?

You don't follow cis scene I see, derke and cloud have been og cis prodigies(other than Gambit and Shaos) since crowcrowd days, derke got more lucky with teammates afterwards tho. If SUMN/Fnatic got them both and not just derke who knows how many trophies they would have already won.

Cloud best player in the ex-NAVI (he is similar to Zekken imo)
nukkye and hoody best players in G2 (carried a dead squad to international events)
F1tinho best player in previous Giants (still has really high firepower)
rhyme is probably one of the IGLs with the most firepower like stax

exactly, cloud nukkye and rhyme have absurd firepower. Hoody has always been very reliable. Im a bit iffy on Fit1nho, he never really convinced me much but hopefully he can atleast keep up with his teammates

Fnatic cannot be trusted. Their coaching staff especially is not good. They've always had issues with their map pool, and they've always had a permaban so they can't even play around with the veto to surprise opponents.

Their new permaban will be pearl, just watch. And i still don't trust their breeze. A year released and still not good at it. Until i'm proven wrong, i wont trust FNC and their map pool.

NAVI and TL i have more faith in

Its because Americas are 2 continents and EMEA is like, 1.5 or something. We had hella talent before, just spread across a bajillion teams competing in NA circuit. Now EMEA who had a good few teams, with only the best few making it to the best tourneys, has all of their talent spread across more teams, because of the size of the region. not to mention the difference in both of our t2 scenes.

edit: also its like, the first tourney of the year. chill out and it'll prolly end up like 21 masters Reykjavik honestly. All of the teams need a bit to become their peak form.

Tbf that's what i meant when i said it'll end up like 21 Reykjavik, NA was seen as best, but then teams all over the world started picking up on meta stuff a lot quicker. But now the talent needs to be guided into whatever is best for their team's style of play is.

i wouldnt say every NA team. eg only look good bc they were playing heretics, with a yoru on pearl. a lot of their calls looked weaker compared to NRG and C9.

But their set plays were the best Ive seen in this tourney so far. They had loads of ideas with good execution, mid rounding looked a bit off but they can work on that. Heretics still has a good chance of winning this series tho, they should atleast win on their map pick next

Yep the bottom teams kinda trolled with their rosters. BBL got eliminated first in LCQ and they still stick with most of the same roster only adding like Sounchi and Brave. FUT's biggest achivement so far is winning Ascension and again decided to stick with same roster. KCorp wanted to be full French speaking, so again they were forced to sign some weaker tier 2 talent (Shin was good tho) and kept ScreaM IGLing. And Heretics for most part signed players who had weak 2022.

Kcorp can be much better if they get Enzo to replace Newzera. He plays similar roles and can IGL. Xms didn't do well the last series but he was absolutely smurfing in T2 EU so I have faith. Kcorp can improve so much but idk if they're even thinking about changes

KCorp could be ok with Enzo, but even still its all down to how well Enzo can IGL and its hard to rate it based on Apeks' games alone. XMS was doing really well in French VRL, but he was playing Chamber for most part. Also they are super limited if they want to stay French speaking and its going to be hard to change language if/when it happens.

We still got teams like TGRD,FaZe and M80 in Ascension league who can give tough fight in league (Guard can actually win easily)
and EMEA Ascension teams Apeks and Acend? these teams will get clapped by APAC Ascension teams (Bleed,MiTH) KEKW

Why are people suprised about this? KOIs first outing as a core at all, and then they go against the best core in history, ofc they lose. Giants, Heretics, Vitality are all budget teams. CK and the turkish teams are ofc. meh at best. EMEA will be ruled by FNC and Navi with Liquid and KOI maybe stitching them a bit.
