The British organization is entering Valorant with the hopes of a bright Champions Tour Stage 2, counting on a top European player to spearhead their roster. Davidp was a part of the triumphant G2 Esports 2020 roster that swept the Ignition Series, finishing the year off by exiting First Strike in the top 4 after a 1-2 defeat to Heretics.

Ever since being benched on G2 Esports, the Belgian player has been missing from tournaments as he readied a reentry into the competitive scene. Meanwhile, his former team failed to qualify for the Stage 1 Masters after losing to DfuseTeam in the deciding match. He'll now have a chance to clash with his ex-teammates when the Champions Tour restarts with Stage 2, where he certainly hopes to make an impression.

EXCEL are one of the top European organizations, playing in the competitive Fortnite scene and in League of Legend's European league, LEC, where they currently sit in 8th place with a record of 5 wins and 10 losses.
