FNC vs TH was a reverse sweep where TH literally got 5 rounds in the first 2 maps. Literally all the momentum in the world. And FNC did it against a team that is known for losing the grand finals. And they lost so many clutches and lost a 9-3 map in the process.

FNC did not seem to care nearly as much when they lost compared to when they lost in Toronto

i mean they make it back in 2-3 months. It's a lot of money but a lot of money + the prestige of winning a masters trophy is much greater motivation for the players. in reality the 250k gap between masters and ewc doesn't make that big of a difference for the players (it's still more money, but per player the amount isn't huge), but no one cares about winning the ewc trophy while people care about winning for the masters.

you know many players can get tournament winnings in a few months right (100k) and that's assuming the org doesn't take any of the money. When prize pool is the only incentive to win, the tournament is mickey mouse by definition.

I mean one win in a mickey mouse tournament and they're feeling like this? Like they are better than everyone else? I just know for a fact they are going to bomb out in a tournament that actually matters (Champs). Just can't believe they need to be humbled after winning a Mickey Mouse tournament.
