lev is winning this match

posted 1 month ago

c0m won't allow that to happen

posted 1 month ago

Americas don't need to worry EG and Lev will bring champs home

posted 1 month ago

yeah, I don't agree with him saying TL was meh because it looked like they weren't prepared when TL was forced in a situation where it was impossible for them to properly prep in the first place

We can only judge off what we've seen. TL did get very unlucky and I personally think that if they didn't get unlucky they would have been better than Sen, however, I don't think there's much of a point to getting into hypotheticals. They might've placed higher, they might've not all we have are the results at the end of the day. TL rn is potentially the best team itw though with the new roster.

I feel like Metal Gear Solid also deserves a mention seeing it hasn't been listed so far

Snake Eater and Heavens Divide by itself makes Metal Gear a top contender

I haven't heard that name in years...

Ah I forgot about Chrono Cross and FF, they're soundtracks hit different

The biggest reason why pokemon music is so good for me is because of nostalgia, but take that away and in my opinion it's just top tier but not the best.

posted 1 month ago

I mean if you have actual series who are known to have good soundtracks and then you have valorant which has like what, the main theme? Or maybe the queue music is what you thought I was talking about? It's pretty obvious I wasn't being serious, no?

Never listened to any of the soundtrack from Rayman Legends, but I loved this ost from Rayman Origins:

Yk ball and I forgot about Touhou ngl

They are in my top 10 without a doubt arguably top 5

I'm so clearly not being serious with the Val pick lol

Soulsborne games all have amazing sound tracks and are top tier. Not my number one favorite personally, but they are all elite and match the aesthetic that the games have perfectly.

Valorant main theme clears csgo main theme, so it's number oat

For me, it's probably Nier Automata, Every Persona game, Devil May Cry, Bravely Default, Sonic Frontiers, and Valorant

What about y'all?

In my opinion, every match on the international stage is important even if the run is bad overall. I was just addressing your claims of you saying he was a regional farmer so I think it's fair to talk about all of his international performances.

I mean you mentioned the games were he popped off the most but he was sill great in every other game as well besides the one versus prx (which honestly wasn't that bad either). I don't think anyone think thinks that as an overall player KK is on the same level as Derke and Aspas, but that his peaks reaches the same high that their peaks do (which I can agree with). He did overheat a bit and make some mistakes I can admit that, but his impact was comparable to both smoggy and chichoo that tournament if not greater. 105 FK is crazy and the amount of space he created for his team was a crucial factor for all of EDG's wins.

I think people just look at his 1.10 rating and think that his performance there was overrated. And that's just something I don't agree with. I think it's reasonable to say KK was the best player in Champs 2024.

posted 1 month ago

Nah, he was good in Champs 2022, amazing in Tokyo 2023, mid in Champs 2023, good in Madrid 2024, bad in Shanghai 2024 (but the entierety of EDG was bad and either him or smoggy was EDG's best player), amazing in Champs 2024 (I'm ngl, this is his best event if you look past purely the stats which are still great and this tournament alone proves he's no where near a regional farmer). And mid in Bangkok 2025 (but still EDG's second best player on the team). Calling him a regional farmer after Champs 2024 and all his other good performances is unreal ngl. In most of the tournaments where he's been mid/bad he was still the second best or best player on EDG. Imo Champs 2023 was easily his worst showing so far, but even that wasn't that bad.

He was a bit overrated for a time, but then everyone started calling him overrated and now he's back to being rated or even a bit underrated lol. At least on vlr.

posted 1 month ago

Lol what. Shy has been the top rated player in 3/5 losses (where he has played) that Kru have had so far since Kickoff (not counting off season tourneys). And the other 2 games, he was second highest rated. And he was positive in all the losses except 1. You're just wrong lol.

posted 1 month ago

I don't agree with this reasoning, but I do think F0rsaken deserved it over Fudge. High impact + most kills on his team + igl + (most importantly, imo) the win. Yeah, it's F0rsaken.

posted 1 month ago

ik that kamyk 1v4 clutch had you jumping with joy

posted 1 month ago

yeah the worst part is if Sen didn't throw even one of those rounds, we wouldn't have had the see the worst bind gameplay oat

also not making excuses they def deserved that loss lol

posted 1 month ago

One of the unluckiest/most thrown maps on the international stage ever. Nats had a collat head shot 1v3 clutch, 2 people died in a gun round for free by jumping onto ledge at the same time and falling into the abyss, and kamyk had a 1v4 clutch while being stuck in one spot. Allat happened and they still barely lost 16-14. Knew it was bad watching it live but looking back holy shit it's even worse than I thought lmao. The only thing that made it not as bad for sen was the fact liquid threw a bit as well.

posted 1 month ago

most iconic for Americas sure

But I feel like the most iconic moment overall has to be done on the international stage for sure

posted 1 month ago

demon1 most iconic play for sure

idk if it's more iconic than cove though

posted 1 month ago

because ardiis 3k clutch is arguably the greatest clutch of all time and suygetsu aim reset is an insane play + caster call to win the entire tournament. They are just as iconic if not more.

also way more impactful than the crashies fracture ace

2022 in general has like multiple moments that could be top 1 in different years imo

posted 1 month ago

None of the singular demon1 moments are more iconic than Cove I'm afraid

posted 1 month ago

That's true, I literally saw no one defending the tejo meta. Genuinely the most horrible one to watch. Toronto had decently good moments with SiuFatBB and PRX shenanigans, but the meta shift did affect it quite a bit I agree.

I pray for the most insane champs to date.

posted 1 month ago

Yeah 2023 is great forsure, but the best things to happen that year aren't really singular moments like the 11-3 comeback from FNC or EG cooking at Champs. I think the most iconic 2023 moment is COVE, which is kinda sad ngl unless I'm forgetting something. 2025 is actually lacking singular iconic moments so far, but I believe in Champs.

posted 1 month ago

2022 and 2024 had the most iconic moments imo

posted 1 month ago

yeah, I don't know how I forgot it, the play + call is iconic. It was Tenz first Sen game and he did that against my fav team at the time (LG). Maybe that's why I didn't want to remember it.

posted 1 month ago

I forgot about the crashies ace on rope that's def top 3.

Idk about the 2024 one. I think the KangKang 4k is easily the most iconic play of the year.

posted 1 month ago

I forgot that happened ngl but I never forgot the Chronicle ace

2021: Chronicle Ace Against Kru

2022: SUYGETSU AIMS!
THE RESET!
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
4 KILLS FOR THE FINAL BLOW!

or

The most iconic clutch ever (Ardiis 3k against DRX)

2023: Cove

2024: KangKang Angel of Death (guardian 4k against TH up 11-9)

2025: PRX Losing a 12-1 lead against TL but managing to win in OT off a Patitek whiff

Did I cook?
