Recency bias, banger grand finals makes people disregard the tech issues + not on lan + single elimination playoffs + 2 teams with subs + unstreamed online bo1 qualifiers (💀) + bo1’s being in the tournament in general + playing multiple different teams in one day. It is a Mickey Mouse tournament and most agreed, but there’s been too many good narratives now so people will try and argue it matters
